Hi. If you just download the zip, extract it and run the executable, all components must be there. If you move the executable somewhere else then some components will not be there.

@@demil3618there are ways to mimic middle button in a laptop. You can also activate scrollbars: simulide.com/p/settings/#circuit-settings

You could even do it yourself with an script. It's not extremely difficult. 6520, 6522 and 6532 are done with sripts. Have a look at SimulIDE/data/MCS65/

Click in the gear icon then Compiler settings.

I mean, VS Code + PlatformIO is created for code writing - code completion, dependency management, etc. I can understand how one can write and debug one file arduino sketch in Simul IDE alone. But sth complex? Or, maybe, some sort of source maps are supported? So development could be done in one tool and debugging in Simul IDE? Also, there's an option to reload firmware on simulation start. That's really great and already saves a ton of prototyping efforts. I really mean it. So maybe there's a way to get debugging for complex projects (I mean, with dependencies, which are built it VsCode+PlatformIO)?

@@simulide6736 I read your source code. Is very easy except the angelscript interpreter code. Maybe we can contribute doing components (custom mcus etc) using a library that the program can load and the component can be developed using an api. I found source code for rp2040 interpreter in javascript and esp32 and st interpreter sources code that can be translated to c++ and implement support for this mcus. For example a bluetooth shield module that uses qt bluetooth stack, etc.

For example to make a rp2040 interpreter using angelscript can be too slow. I prefer doing one in c++ using qt platform and Mcu interface.

The "Tool Path" must be a folder, not a file. You should select the folder of the Arduino installation in your system. About multitask and those error codes, I don't know what exactly are you doing, so I can't help. Yes, with this kind of component it will be possible to create peripherals with Uart, I2C, SPI, etc. This tutorial is the very basics of scripted components, in Part 2 we will add configurable properties and combine this with subcircuits to add a dial to the amplifier. Then, more tutorials will come showing how to add communication modules, link to other components and some other features.
