I am a patient of the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics Heart and Vascular Heart Failure Clinic as well as the Urology Specialty Clinic and I've recently been receiving care from Interventional Radiology! I truly love all my Specialist especially how they all try to work together as a team to ensure I'm getting the right treatments for the Health conditions that I have! I have only had a few bad experiences, but those bad experiences were through the Emergency room! I've actually had such good experiences with the University Clinics that I have referred my daughter down there due to her really bad Thyroid problems that aren't getting any better with the medication at the really high dosage level she's currently taking. So when she found out she has cysts in her Thyroid and nobody seems to know what or how to treat them I suggested she ask to be referred to you guys! Thank you, UIHC for everything you've already done for so many people and for everything you continue doing to help people such as my daughter and myself, please keep up the exceptionally great work that y'all do to ensure people can get the treatments they need for whatever they might have! 👏🏼👍🏽

The VA Hospital in Iowa City is pure evil. They held me prisoner for 3 days. I finally cut my iv line and walked out with a drain tube protruding from my chest. I will never walk into this hospital unarmed again. Both times I've gone back, I did so with a locked and loaded Glock 23 on my person and walked right past their screeners. They can't even do that right. Bulldoze the Iowa City VA Hospital.
