    Sorry to say but you messed up two things at the Emerg. Deco .... 8 Minutes was right but he only have to stay out of the water for 6h not 12h !!! there is no 12h rule, the next step after 6h is 24h

    How come with Nitrox 1 how does the nitrogen and oxygen not want to form a covalent bond? Both of them around 33.33%oxygen and 66.66% nitrogen they want to share there valance electrons with each other. How is it a homogeneous gas mix instead of forming into nitrous oxide?

    This is a GREAT video to show how to use a dive table. Watch his part 102, 103 and 104 to get more details on how to calculate dive times and no decompression limits. Exactly what everybody wants, it’s just in different videos. Love this!!!

  • @saullandiof5768

    I don’t think this is correct, you’re reading minutes at depth as residual nitrogen - dive time being equal, the residual nitrogen is going to be greater from a deeper dive

  • @IHWKR
    @IHWKR ปีที่แล้ว

    This video makes it seem like people can build up as much residual nitrogen as they want without consequence which is obviously the exact opposite of the truth. I dont even know how to read a dive table and I know Its missing a lot of information.

  • @garljoens

    Wait, so I'm confused. The numbers in the blue boxes are indicators of your dive time, but also a measurement of your residual nitrogen levels? Is nitrogen level in some sense measured in relation to minutes or time? Is that why the number can serve two functions?

    • @garljoens
      @garljoens 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      OH wait, so, the leftover residual nitrogen, after emerging from a dive, is equivalent to having dived for wherever you end up in the blue boxes for a second dive?

    Why not give a conclusion at the end? You know, what it all means. The ending says "you're now in pressure group T." Well frikkin great, isn't that applicable!

  • @veronicabrown6334
    @veronicabrown6334 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Why must you add the residual nitrogen time to the next dive? It doesn't seem to have an effect on your next dive or surface time.
