Pleasure having you out mate! Keen for the next one
Pet that snek?
I"m sure there's a way to meld your passion for herpto-culture with the law in Singapore. Don't go back to illegality, doesn't go anywhere. Maybe there are official channels you can go through. Or better yet, maybe there are ways to campaign for better and more comprehensive pet laws that are fairer to those who feel passionately about reptiles etc. Alternatively, there's always the zoo or Acres, or maybe you could apply and open your own reptile sanctuary where you take care of native reptiles. I'm not sure how you'd be able to do that but hey, why not try right?
I will NEVER go back to illegality. It's a disservice to the animals and to the hobby. I've been working on a legal way around this and hopefully will be able to share the results in the coming months!
Extremely underrated bro!
Thx for watching there!

Hi Randal, I too am somewhat a reptile lover (more accurately mostly just tortoises) living in Singapore and none of the tortoises are allowed here. In 1 part of the video you mentioned about moving out of Singapore to be a 'Dragon Dad' again, its so sad that there might be many more Singaporeans thinking the same because of similar reasons. And I just want to ask, Is there no way we can get some of the reptiles we love approved in Singapore? I am very sure there is at least 1 or 2 that meets the requirements of Nparks, just that it hasn't gotten to their attention yet, like for example it doesn't make sense for the traits that of a 80cm in size Macaw Parrot to be allowed but a 20cm slow and gentle hermanns tortoise is not allowed. perhaps we need to let our voices out and try to make it happen. 😇
Hi! Trust me I understand the frustration. Unfortunately, it’s going to be an uphill battle trying to make changes here. As long as decision and policy makers continue to push the rhetoric of the reptile keeping hobby as part of the illegal wildlife trade, things aren’t changing. The easiest solution as ridiculous as it sounds is to move abroad where the rules are more inclusive and better thought out than the blanket ban we have here haha. Banning bearded dragons, leopard geckos and other commonly kept species that aren’t problematic has always boggled my mind but whatever I guess. I was a proud father of 3 dragons. They were the best years of my life. They were taken from me and I’m all out of fight and voicing opinions sadly. However I genuinely wish you all the best 🫡
@@dragonvoices I can feel your pain... These are your pets that you adore and love and to have that taken from you like that, moreover from a ban that entirely makes no sense, residents keeping several big birds like african greys is somehow legal and there so many residents keeping cats that it became 'fine'. but keeping even a single small skink that causes no disturbance to anyone is not allowed. But what happened exactly if you dont mind sharing, was it because you were keeping a number of them or was it someone that made a complain behind your back?
@@sgtl2655 Hi! You can check out the documentary I did with mewatch where they go into a little more detail on what happened 😅 There’s a linktree to it from my IG heh
Y’all forgot business students
I just got a many striped skink and it always hide under the soil 😅
Puff-Faced Water snakes feed on frogs and fishes! Completely harmless to us :)
No thank you.
