Ha ha I remember, thanks for the offer, very nice of you to stop and check. Fortunately we were able to get a strap and made it out.
Remember the good old days in the Kaibab seeing groups of big bucks every day. Seems like all the western states are losing hunters because of all the ridiculous rules and regulations. Without the old guys teaching the young guys, hunting will be a thing of the past. All my friends have stopped hunting! .

Nice buck. I drew the 12a west late season tag this year. 🤞🏼 Crazy how when that unit for archery went to draw, the 1st season had like 1200 tags. When it was OTC, there was people everywhere

Bradley Larson we waited a little while, not too long as we were certain it was down behind the tree from the reaction of the other pigs. Of course we would have gave it more time if we had no idea where it went.

Bryan Chartrand yep, after the first shot if they stop and give you another shot take it, even if your sure it’s going down, don’t stop shooting.
Kawabunga but still that's a horrible shot,you should only shoot if you fill comfortable . Poor sportmenship
I would never take that as a first shot because of the risk, , but as you can see it buried up into the body, not sure how it's more " sportsmanlike" to try and blow a hole through an animals vitals and KILL it from only certain angles. Also not sure what you're talking about being comfortable as that's where I was aiming, like I said he was already hit, in bow hunting one of the unwritten rules I've learned and heard a lot is never assume your first shot was good, after that shot take anyone you get. Not trying to argue with you but just the way I've learned, good luck on your hunts.
