I was a faithful viewer of the show, and this was a watershed episode. Matter of fact, this year changed the show for good. They lost three long-time cast members by season's end, and it was heartbreaking.

Alan is so humble. He won't take credits for being the man behind the unique sound of Depeche Mode. Or to say the least, he's very reluctant to do so. A truly beautiful man inside and out. And witty. I love how he says "I'm not going down the street thinking, 'Shh ooh, I want that sound.' " 😍

incredible.... wow!!! Alan is so right! He is against being a "safe" band which brings about boring music which is exactly what DM has become more and more after he left.

This is one of the best and most comprehensive interviews with Alan I have ever heard. The questions are well thought-out and he is so frank and speaks his mind here (e.g. his harsh criticism of the music industry). I just love listening to him, his way of explaining and analysing things, he provides an interesting insight. My favourite bit is how at 1:17 he takes his time to think about the question and finally goes "True, ya that's true." 😍

I could listen to Alan speak all day long. His soft, husky voice and lovely posh West London accent 😍. This is a good interview, quite insightful, tells a lot about the band''s working practices. It's interesting he says that because he doesn't mind spending longer time in the studio he inevitably ends up doing a bit more. It's a shame he never received the appreciation he deserved for the extra time and effort he put in.

När jag pratade med Tomas Von Brömssen om Mannen från Mallorca sa han att Ernst Gunther som Dahlgren skulle spelats av Carl-Gustaf Lindstedt, men jag tror Carl-Gustaf filmade Pengarna gör mannen med Lars Molin vid samma tidpunkt så han tvingades tacka nej till Widerberg! Tomas Von Brömssen var väldigt nöjd med rollen i filmen och Widerberg hade sett Tomas i Albert och Herbert vilket Tomas trodde själv var anledningen att han fick rollen 😀 ❤️
