I think the nerf is more relevant to sentinel meta. Only Cypher could counter Neon's movement or a well placed Sound Sensor from Deadlock, which made the sentinel meta even more unbalanced. I don't think the nerfs are going to be huge because they buffed her and Iso too because of the duelist meta was basically just Jett and Raze for years.

He needs a rework AND also a buff. At low elo, you can get away with being predictable. But as you climb, it just becomes too easy to either outplay and/or overwhelm him when pushing a site. THAT'S the main issue with Cypher. His ability to delay a push is pretty much non-existent. Every other sentinel has something in their arsenal that can either do some serious damage or guarantee a slow. But once cyphers trips are gone, he has nothing to work with. Not even his cage's slow enemies... Other sentinels essentially get a guaranteed delay whereas the only time Cypher does, is when he has his god trips and then the map changes to eliminate that which I think is bs and a perfect example of why he needs a rework. Any time a map is changed or a site is tweaked, Cypher is impacted tremendously. If any rework is to be made, the BEST and probably only change he'd need is to make his trips behave as a point-to-point system. That and more damage for the trips too. Killjoys traps melt players but cyphers do basically nothing... A whole 5 dmg... Whether he needs a rework or not, its undeniable that his ability to delay is non-existent and that needs to change. -(Cypher main)

As a deadlock main, I'll explain why the only thing needing a fix is the ult, currently in defense she is incredibly strong too play time and too play free kills, she is horrible for information gathering but she is generally so broken for strong holding a site that its incredible for a sentinel, in attack she as I said is incredibly bad for info gathering meaning its bad too use a trip for (Anti-Lurk) she again is a BEAST at postplant or in general controlling a site after its been taken over. You have no idea how crazy her trips always stun people and if you dont stun them, its cause you dont know how to use her. (Put the wall that way you know theres only 1 route into site, and bait sound [Bullets, movement, util] its gonna trigger no matter what or just do a gun fight and dodge then they are stunned, magical. My point I love deadlock and I feel like she is a peak sentinel I would say even better than KJ, way better than Vyse and yea we dont talk about the Healer and Eco God. Give me arguments I'd love too defend my main agent. I am a proud Deadlock main. Or ask questions I can give you tips, currently I'm Asc as a DL main its just my aim aint it so I can say thanks too her and the gamesense I got so far, you can climb ranks. If I had aim I can say I'd be inm1 atleast. Deadlock = Pros: StrongHold + PostPlant God Cons: No free info gathering (You have too force info), you have too pay attention too your util and have good awareness (Not a character that you can just throw things and trust the util [Other than an early game wall]) I'll probably copy paste this in other videos. I'm b2 on my main but i am comfortable at getting to silver 2 to 3 and even g1 with not a lot of trouble on alts (i play with silver friends so i dont smurf, and ik silvers cant smurf) and i got used to playing the headhunters pretty well, i think they are op and his trips need a buff,. also they say i could be plat if i played more anyways yeah buff trips
