4KHDR Shoan Lo’s Ikebana “The Melting Hourglasses” at the MIFGS 2023 4KHDR
Shoan’s ikebana installation at the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show 2023. The theme of the yeas set out the Show was “A Moment in Time”. Shoan responded with her “Melting Hourglass” made by painted cane and same draining out from them represented by Hydrangeas and Gypsophilia. The work is 2.4m x 2 x 2.4m in size.

There was a big storm for the last few days and finally it was dry on Sunday 13 June 2021 so we went to the Yarra river around Abbotsford to have a walk. The Yarra has raised a lot and a few paths was flooded and we have to cut our walk short

Sorry, I do not. There is a lot of historical research into it which I am not familiar with.
