Gameplay of me fighting Dragonlord Placidusax in Elden Ring.
In the prehistoric era before the Erdtree, the Lands Between were ruled by the majestic Ancient Dragons, powerful beasts with scales of stone who possess the ability to wield red lightning as a weapon. And all were commanded by an even stronger Ancient Dragon, the mightiest of them all : the Dragonlord Placidusax.
Placidusax was a dragon with multiple heads, and is said to have been Elden Lord in the age before the Erdtree, marking him as the true First Elden Lord. He was so powerful and his authority was so unquestioned that the other Ancient Dragons under his command would go as far as to form a wall of living rock using their own scales to protect their lord.
The Dragonlord ruled over the city of Farum Azula, where he worshipped an ancient god who would, however, disappear one day. Once his god was fled, the lord continued to await its return, withdrawing to his seat that lies at the heart of the storm beyond time. The royal city of Farum Azula then became a giant mausoleum used to enshrine Placidusax, guarded by chosen Beastmen.
In his absence, Farum Azula started to crumble into ruins, Queen Marika began the Age of the Erdtree, and the enfeebled descendants of the Ancient Dragons, deemed impure, were chased by adepts of the newly founded Dragon Communion. The Dragonlord's scales also started to spread across the Lands Between, lightly twisting time to become precious Golden Gravel Stones, that allowed the creation of weapons capable of slaying a god.
But now, the Tarnished finally arrived at the foot of the gigantic tornado of doomed Farum Azula, across which lies the seat of the ancient king, beyond time itself. Will he be considered worthy enough to obtain an audience with the legendary Dragonlord?
