Yes they are. I think they are £1.07 in Sainsbury’s and are price matched with Aldi. I find that with fresh you need to use them within a couple of days otherwise they seem to get brown spots on them. They just take a few minutes to cook so I’d definitely recommend giving them a try 😊 xx

🙄 He’s got activities on 5 days out of 7 so I don’t think dropping one is making me a bad mum, especially when he will still be playing football 2 days a week. It’s a lot of running around for us as parents to do as well as work, cook meals, help with homework, bath times, housework as well as other day to day things. There are plenty of kids out there who don’t even get taken to a single activity due to costs, etc so I really don’t think that Noah is hard done by!

He fills up on Sausage McMuffins, bacon rolls, costas, meal deals from Tesco during the day so he’s not that cheap to feed 😆. He said that he doesn’t like feeling full in the evenings and that’s why he eats more in the daytime than in the evening. Always has room for chocolate and desserts though 🙄

I’ve been waiting for the day that someone asks that question as I know myself his portion is tiny 😆. He just doesn’t eat a lot at night, very rarely does he finish what I give him but that is so he can have a dessert or chocolate afterwards . He does eat more throughout the day so he probably fills up then. He sometimes has a bacon roll/sausage McMuffin mid morning and he usually eats a meal deal at lunch time so I think that’s why by evening he’s not starving. I’m the opposite I don’t eat much during the day and fill up at teatime so that’s why my portion is about twice the size of his 😆 xx

I see lol 😆 it's the opposite with me I eat like a child so my portion size is probably smaller than your sons 😅my partner eats like a pig 🐖 but don't put weight on 🙄 just wanted to ask the question didn't know if I had to many wines 🍷lol

The prawns were really nice, I had them on Saturday in a stir fry. Still wouldn’t pay almost £8 for them though 😆. I just checked to see if Heptathlon was the most but it’s a Decathlon which has 10 instead of heptathlon’s 7. He certainly has enough energy to keep him going for all 10 😆. I think I might have just had my last voucher, they haven’t sent me any more this week! I think I’ve had a money off voucher from them once before and that was years ago on my last account. Maybe you need to open a new account with them ☺️. The 95p pizzas certainly have loads of cheese for that price. I was the same the first time I got one as usually with the cheaper pizzas it’s mostly tomato sauce base and a few sprinkles of grated cheese but none was needed. They are probably manufactured in the same place as the co-op ones, at least you know where you can get them cheaper for next time 😊 xx

The carbonara was really nice and it’s done in the same pot which saves on washing up. I probably go through around a roll and a half a week. I use it for cleaning my worktops/chopping board but also Freddie is sometimes sick in the morning after inhaling his breakfast so I use kitchen towels to clean it up. Being a cat he doesn’t just vomit in the one place, he decides to do it in a few places. Under the kitchen table is a popular choice, it seems the more difficult a place for me to clean it the better 😬. My Mum said my Dad used to bake me gf bread and they used to get my biscuits on prescription but that she had to pay extra for the ones with chocolate on them 😆. Will need to try the Whippy bars the next time, thanks for the recommendation 😊 xx

Yes, I noticed that it said that as well 😆. We are all well thanks, hope you are too? I get really bloated, a sore stomach and I’m really uncomfortable with it. I had suspected coeliac disease when I was a baby as I stopped growing but then they said I didn’t have it after various tests. I got tested again a couple of years ago and although I’m not coeliac the Dr said you can still have intolerance to gluten even if you don’t have coeliac disease. I think some people are gluten free because they feel better without it such as they get less skin flare ups, stomach upsets, etc. Same with people who are dairy free. They maybe don’t have a diagnosed allergy to it but they feel much better once it has been cut out of their diet. xx

@@thelifeofdee75 exactly, you've hit the nail right on the head. You don't have to be coeliac to have an intolerance or allergy to gluten or dairy, you can still suffer just as much. I'm just pleased the alternatives to gluten are so much more available now because years ago my daughter's nan paid a fortune for things and she's been coeliac since a child and like you she stopped growing. please don't think I am questioning anything in that way. I'm just curious as I get bloated a lot and I used to worry that it was gluten but it turns out I have a twisted bowel. I'm just glad for you that you're able to eat well without getting ill xxx

I do the same now x and if I've got celery going off I cop and freeze that to add to stews bolanase too xx I've just froze mushrooms but haven't used them yet x

You can buy frozen chopped onion and save yourself the bother. Yoi can buy fresh chopped onion too so if you will be using them not long after your dekivery, it saves you completely!

That’s a good idea, will need to give that a try! I have bought ready chopped ones before for ease but I do prefer fresh. Don’t know why as I don’t think there is any difference in taste 😆 xx

True but no waste. Also going back to fresh ones, a tip on another channel said after using onion or garlic, was your hands in cold water and no smells linger!

It is only a couple of meals where I make some changes like that for everyone . I couldn’t be done with it for every meal though 😆. Noah does try most things but he’s not keen on spicy things and as I like spicy food I will give him something different but easy to make 😊 xx

Yes, the size (and price) difference is huge. The GF ones were on offer at £2.50 but usually £3 and I think the standard ones were around £1.20. You can’t put much filling in the gf ones so I just top it like it’s a pizza 😆 xx

Yes, he does have a very active life…his parents however have zero social life 😆. Too busy running him to his activities. Prawn baked potatoes are probably one of my favourite things to eat. Has to have loads of sauce though, I don’t like it when it is too dry 😊 xx

It was alright! It didn’t taste amazing but it didn’t taste bad either. I wasn’t that hungry that night but I think if you were wanting a proper meal it probably wouldn’t be enough so I would have something alongside it like sausages/veggie sausages or chicken if you eat that xx
