Malta Truck Leyland 680 Ergomatic 1966 and JCB 3C2 1972
An old Maltese truck - a Leyland Ergomatic and a JCB 3C2 being used to dig a hole for a reservoir, followed by a short tour of both of them... With a little care, these trucks last almost forever!

What a great video. How cool to see the old gear still doing a days work. Older is better by far you can ride them and repair them easy. We have gone backwards in some ways. Thanks Ruth ❤😁

AC! :) Not! It's an extra cooler added to help it with the hammer...
Did u add that gearbox to ur jcb its like a gearbox out of a mk 3
Possibly an earlier Brockhouse torque convertor/shuttle with a manual 4 speed gearbox.

Love those extra flat wheel rims . Love how grotty it looks inside yet tidy and straight on the outside.haha.
James French As long as it looks tidy, it passes its annual test. :) Since I took this video I noticed I bent the rear axle slightly near the driver's side wheel... Must have passed on some very uneven surface at the tip. It hasn't gotten any worse but I'm on the look out for the outer casing for when it eventually needs to be replaced. I'll definitely reinforce it though to make sure it doesn't happen again! Of course, it has nothing to do with overloading... :) Over 16 tons load every time!

Sure! I haven't used it for a few months but I plan to do so within the next 6-8 weeks, so it will be clean by then.
