I think the motor needs to be oiled, it’s probably seized up. It’s a shame companies don’t adequately oil their products before selling them anymore.

I have this exact same washer, but I got it for Christmas so I shouldn’t have to replace anything just yet. it’s brand new (today is 02/05/2023). I knew it had to be something with the motor or some wires. I opened up the bottom like you did, and there was nothing out of the ordinary. I took off the screws for the very top by the knobs, (lift slowly, and push forward a little. They will snap right off) and made sure everything was attached securely. Turned it on to see and it worked! So, if anyone is having issues, maybe try that? If anything I said made sense sorry i’m just a girl with a screwdriver and a dream lol

Do U have any info or would be able to do a quick video on repairing a screeching loud spin dryer? I have the Zeny mini twin tub washer & spin dryer. I'm a Computer Tech of 20 yrs. rebuilding & repairing computers, tv's & cell phones & I already repaired & replaced my wash timer & the washer belt. Yet when it comes to the screeching noise with the spin dryer, I'm factoring in it may not be such a good idea for me to usE WD-40 where the spinner bracket is. Nothing is loose as far as the screws go. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated. I've had my Zeny for about 5yrs now. Thanks in advance for the info Brutha.

@@jessicamancia8795 it was pretty frustrating just taking apart the top part where the screws are and taken aback part-man when I was doing it my back was aching for a minute had to use a flashlight and all of a sudden I put it back together and it didn't work so what I did I just bought a brand new one a little bit bigger one this time you could actually put more clothes in it get the one that where it has like 20 or 25 lb capacity which would be like 18 lb for the wash and maybe six or seven pounds for the spinner those actually worth little better

Oh ya here's a tip when you open the back panel of the washing machine and you can see the belt the motor and wires get a WD-40 10 and spray the belt Don't spray a lot but do like three good sprays and it runs way better run smoother another cold tip is at you didn't buy these little hand warmers that they sell at Walgreens you can activate it and stick it in the spinner with your clothes and that will speed up the drying process

REALLY DUDE?! We know what it is otherwise we wouldn't have been able to find your video. I didn't just happen to stumble upon it! I actually typed into the browser search bar for portable washer repairs. Don't talk down on your viewers. Your audience is not a bunch of 5 year olds. Hi Anie A, sorry about the late reply; i was so busy. How you doing, i hope everything well with you. The answer to your question. I brought the part online like ebay or home depot. When you open up, the portable washer and the spinner side and take out part, makesure you take a picture of parts and the serial number# it make it alot easier to found part. Hi Cristina C, sorry of late response to your question. I been very busy and only check my replies when i have a chance to. The answer to your question is to replace the turn knob or have a local technician to inspect the problem, but always remember to take pictures of problems and do a short video clips, So the repairer can understand where the problem is coming from.
