i'm trying to figure out how that nylon stringed (classical) guitar worked with a sound hole magnetic pickup .. anyone?

First time I heard their background music played was at the Okada hotel, Philippines. Very hypnotic and free flowing.

I regret that I have but one Like to give for this. I further regret that I found this when I was 66 and not years earlier.

Hey , if anybody out there knows and could maybe enlighten me : the first guy is playing what appears to be a nylon string guitar with a soundhole pickup. Didn't think that was possible. Can anyone help me out with that ? Thanks.

The Spain guitar tuning seems like it needs a little luthiers nut work to be able to tune smoothly….nothing major needed to make a pleasing guitar….

Picked up an AA from the local library in 1996. I’d never listened to acoustic guitar much but fell in love with the group. 👍🏼👍🏼

First time I saw them was Halloween 1991 Huntington NY - and once again years later in Houston at Dosey Does - always wow !

Wow I cant believe we missed you in Portland in July 2023, my wife and I have seen you many times over the years up and down Oregon in Seattle and the UK, Long time fans from the start and your still our #1 band, that will never change, Our Best wishes to Nate, what an honor it must be for him, we love all you guys, such powerful songs, my favourites being Playing for Time, Passion Play, The Stoned Circle, I could go on. Thanks a Million, Truly. I live near Portland, Voodoo are famous and loved in this area.

So being a professional bass player.... I can say that I have run the gamut on playing bass guitar for just about every sort....of musical style .... Probably most of it was rock and roll back in the 70's... And then there's the jazz thing which is good too with lots of improv.... But I think this is my favorite sort of music to play along with on my bass guitar... Just focus on the bass player in this band .. to be in command control of the bass work along with these cats!!!... Truly an amazing experience that would be!!

Lock down hoax

Just saw these guys last night (10/15/23) at the City Winery in Philadelphia. Had been a big fan for years but kept missing them. So happy that Jay Rowe is now a member of the ensemble, too - he was terrific in his own right. Keep it going, AA - you guys rock!!
