the assemblies cannot use steel connections. I used Families based on steel connection categories and GRoups, custom parameters. The Script function is to place groups at locations similar to steel connections. Im will be sharing the scripts based on request and interest as its best used in orkestra and with template files.

yes, in the same style as this one. look at the ribbon in the video for all tools. These are in the simple Basic Stage, working on auto dimension for both single and main parts. see other videos in channels for info. or contact me.

this is all based on dynamo with some python. Still in beta stage looking to convert once a good concept is develop. Orkestra has a nice online Deployment method i am trying to use, for scaling up subscriptions to access to a steel detailing + Ribbon.

the packages should be highlighted for download by dynamo automatically, unfortunately over time some nodes have been deprecated and need to be updated. I have new version of script see most recent videos.

wow, yes there was on older version of these for revit 2017, but the new versions are much better with document templates. an older 2017 project would need to have correct families and parameters.

i have one that creates 3d view from selected objects and applies template. It is lightly different from applying templates to plan view. Let me see if i can update my videos.

these are single arc HSS. The process is quite simple in truth. Develop a section and rotated axis as needed. Use detail lines to create the arc from end point to end point with Radius adjusted as needed. Next Step is to use the Beam tool and pick the select line option (green) and select the detail line. This should do the trick.

this is an old version take a look at the new updated script. some of the packages are clockwork, datashapes, achilabs, . others i added a link to some screen grabs of the graph and package list.

for this script you need clockwork, archi-lab, springnodes, steamnodes data shapes for dialogue windows. maybe others☺. if your office has started a script your best option is to post the problems in the dynamo user forum to get help. i frequent the forum often. search for existing assembly view threads and follow solutions posted. making a tutorial video would take some time. maybe a blog post soon. If you think of a good "quid pro quo"😂i am willing to walk you through the script.

:) Yes good luck with advance steel. you need to use Dynamo for Revit, Write your scripts, Create Revit Families, Create parameters with required information. This method is a hybrid of Cad drafting and BIM workflows. Not able to create NC1 files or DSTV. I recommend using for architectural steel or mid to small size project.

try posting your issue in the Dynamo Forum for help with specific erros that pop up.

3 step process 1. create connection families 2. model steel 3. use dynamo to speed up assembly drawings. there is no automatic method yet, only a hybrid method of drafting and Dynamo.

note the above script is just the PDF print output for shop drawings. Creating shop drawings in Revit requires proper family, templates and about 10 other dynamo scripts

@@abuahamed9594 this type of transfer of knowledge is difficult to achieve in tutorials. Just like Advance Steel or Tekla, a training program would be require to successfully accomplish good and efficient detailing. in addition you would need a Number of Dynamo files that I have developed over the years or be you need to be capable of doing your own. Unless you have a Market demand for detailing in revit its probably best to stick to Advance steel or Tekla. I was not satisfied with the drawing quality of these programs found revit was only limited by the lack of programing.

The forum can get you started with taggin. I don't like giving this DYN since its old , I have little time to support. its best to learn dynamo if your going to be using the scripts there are packages, updates and custom nodes required to get it doing more complicate task.

+ShAjiN P.K You will NEVER receive a completed script from someone. You will need to do some work at least before the Dynamo forums will help.

this is an old post, the latest version does most things. except dimension and taggin.

These Task can also be done with similar Nodes and process. I know NWC would required (3d view isolation and selection? . Exporting drawings to dwg from the sheets sets is also duable with a few modifications. This one is focused on PDF Printing.

working on that, best method would be to use architectural linked model and acquire intersecting structure to get correct elevation. New UI, Dynamo tool to make it more friendly. An automatic option would require the Script to run automatically as you layout pipe. Im updating this script to make use of some new feature s in dynamo.

a 3 minute section in Revit.other than using dyanmo to dimension , that's as fast as it can get. kindly share the link to the video where its done faster.

si claro, pero es necessario tener las familias, parametros en una Template de Detailing. esto fue echo en Revit 2017 solamente porque el nuevo programa de conectciones no permite crear documentos para fabricacion. COmpartire si qerias a yudar a mejorar la funcion.
