many years later i have a question.... WHAT goes in those two ports by the lift handle?

Imagine going from a BMW to a Harley? I mean... going from a svelte, comfortable, great handling, extremely well-engineered European bike with class and ability to cruise at 120 mpg for hours on end, to a frumpy, technologically-stunted, overweight, overpriced, ill-handling, ill-stopping, locked in the '50s-looking POS? Holy COW! I woulda' ditched the WIFE instead!

It's actually a clutch forklift with high and low gears. It was the first time driving that forklift - yes it took a few minutes to figure it out.
