Bungoma Town is the Headquaters of Bungoma County in Western Kenya.It is home to the Bukusu people which a sub-tribe of the larger Luhya Community.It was founded in the 19th Century as a trading center.It borders Uganda.

Covering about 240km in aproximately 5 hours. Snaking through several major towns of Bugiri,Iganga,Jinja,Lugazi,Mukono and finally to Kampala City.Along the way we get to see the incredible Mabira Forest and the roasted chicken and bananas sellers that you cannot afford to miss.We also got to see vast tea and sugarcane plantation as well as pass through two sugar factories Kakira Sugar Campany ...

This township is on the Malaba-Jinja Highway and is home to the Basoga people of uganda.

The rainforest has been a protected area since 1932. It covers about 30,000 hectares north of Lake Victoria in Buikwe District,Eastern Uganda. It is a tourist attraction for both locals and foreigners intrested in hikes,camping and nature walks in general.
