This frenzy change really makes it more difficult to play bruisers and high hp units like LRK and Apoc, they just lose so much max hp so quickly

I think you are underselling the gear. Its not unlikely that some of the gear will roll really well.

I'm actually doing this once on my main account just to have the peaces, they are not really that great, but I just want to have them. and I got another account on witch I'm on and off, and when I want to replay it I just wait the 16 days. but yeah its not something I would do often if I was serious about the game, like on my main, I'll only do it once since I was a little bored of it and this gives me a motive to quit but still think about getting back on the game. I will also use this time to test OuterPlane since I've been having a fun time playing it, I mean, its a lot like E7 so I kind of feel like I know what I'm doing there... I've only been playing E7 for a year after deleting my first 2year-account from when the game first cameout...lol

People would try to take anything they perceive is the path of least resistance just to get some kind of value. So the immediate reaction is not surprising

I love the analysis on the total rewards missed. I disagree on a couple of points though. The first is that you shouldn't do this because it is against TOS. Simple answer is who cares, they'll ban you for not playing the game? It can't be enforced, it is empty threat. It's like saying you shouldn't shoot at media people or medics during war times. Obviously don't declare that you are exploiting brazenly but otherwise they'll want you to come back, I mean that's the whole point of having a returning player reward feature, to get people to play. Second is that the active player reward is not clearly worth more than the returning player reward, both are actually pretty close, I've spent energy on hunt days, nevermind 6 pieces of decent speed gear, I'll be lucky to get 1 or two pieces. Also, people are not doing this during hunt buffs, they'll play hunt buff and then they dip, so they'll still get the hunt buff, and they'll get the extra sets in between. Energy rewards last only a week in mailbox, so not all that energy will actually convert to hunt buff energy, usually it just goes towards tower of ascension or no buff hunts or expeditions. Biggest loss though from not being active is the wisdom gaze if you haven't stocked up, any progress in mystic medals, arena stuff, and guild. It WILL slow down your ML5 star acquisition, but in return you get gear worth rolling.

Why does this game require such a massive bonuspack to get people back into the game? Games should be played for fun imo.

You're comparing rewards from the view of a veteran lvl 70 player as well as discounting the time, money and connections cost for those 16 days. For new players its totally realistic for them to do this as they is no way they can get sets of lvl 88 gear by farming on their own especially in 16 days time. I am less than a year lvl 70 player myself, so as much as I love the game, returning players being gifted those gears allone not even counting the rest of their rewards by doing nohing really pisses me off 😡

I'm leader of semi-casual guild for early-mid players (1-3 months). For some guys this returning thing is good, if they login like once in 50hours, miss some gw, bossess or don't care about nightmare or even hell raids. Guess, I'm gonna change them for more active players if possible

Unfortunately while playing everyday is what they want the incentives we have to do it are not massive and any newer player with low gear is better off quitting for 2 weeks for garunteed decent sets

For me it's balanced gear and heroes ml5s and other RGB heroes play a crucial role in drafts

Charms in steeple when you craft them (4x5 charms per craft) give you 20 each per week, so its 40 of each charm in 2 weeks period.

The way people should see this is, if I go on vacation, take a burnout break, focus on school/work etc.. You can go and do that without the FOMO factor kicking in or regret afterwards. Which is a great move by Smilegate, but to try and do this every 16 days you would obviously be losing out on A LOT more than compared to you playing regularly. Great video for those too dumb to figure this out themselves lol.

You gain good equipment for staying out and for playing you have to pray to rng. Stop talking nonsense, this returnee is busted and SG doesn’t value who log ins every day

Kind of impossible to prove you abused it, but i agree, its not worth it.

The biggest issue with speaking on efficiency. Even though I know you're doing it in response to others doing it. Is it relies on the average person who would take the break. Doing every single thing they can in game, everyday. Then comparing that to everything you will get for doing nothing. Even as someone who plays everyday. I don't do everything and sometimes forget. And whatever you potentially loose out on, while being active for those 16 days. You will gain regardless with the check in. Add to that, I haven't seen what you get from the arky and welcome back event. Outside of the check in itself. But anytime we've gotten something like that. The rewards got progressively better, so that's another unknown. Either way, it's a strong incentive to not play. Which is weird if this was thought out. And just as weird if it wasn't.

Cant wait for these people to come back and complain how shitty the gearing system is when they low rolled these gears 😂
