In the tapestry of my life, woven by the hands of a divine Artist, every thread tells a story of grace and redemption. From the brokenness of my childhood in Kenosha, Wisconsin, to the tumultuous journey of addiction and recovery, I see the guiding hand of God leading me through the darkest valleys and into the light of His love. In the depths of despair, it was the promise of salvation that whispered hope into my heart, leading me to seek refuge in Alcoholics Anonymous and the fellowship of believers. Through the haze of addiction, I glimpsed the cross, a symbol of forgiveness and redemption, beckoning me to surrender my burdens at the foot of Calvary. Though I stumbled along the way, facing trials and temptations that threatened to derail my faith, I clung to the promise that "where sin increased, grace abounded all the more" (Romans 5:20). Even in my weakest moments, the love of Christ never wavered, surrounding me like a fortress of strength and mercy. Each day is a testament to His faithfulness, as I walk the narrow path of recovery, guided by the principles of the 12 steps and the wisdom of Christian fellowship. Through my blog, "Hurts, Hang-Ups, and Habits," I bear witness to the transformative power of Christ's love, sharing the message of hope and healing with a world in need of redemption. Living with bipolar disorder has been a journey fraught with challenges, but through it all, I've seen the hand of God at work, turning my weaknesses into vessels of His grace. In the midst of the storm, I find solace in the words of the Psalmist: "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3). As I continue to walk this path of faith and recovery, I am reminded that my story is not my own, but a testament to the saving power of Christ's sacrifice. May my life be a living testimony to His grace, a beacon of hope for all who are lost and seeking refuge in the arms of a loving Savior.

This song came out when ...my husband died ...it was one month after words. He actually loved this worship leader. We never made it to the send ....we almost went there but he was busy fixing pipes ...he always loved his work and his daughter above everything . His legacy lives on in me and my daughter. He always used to call a 1004 when we would drive...in the streets or see fire trucks. His daughter is autistic and loves trucks. His funeral was one of the best events. He died too soon. Rest In peace 6/21/83 -6/26/23
