Thank you for so much for this marvelous tribute! Amy will forever be my favorite artist ❤️
@@NikolaiHedevig-m2h same here ❤️ there will never be another
As everyone has been talking about other albums so I felt the need to share some of my thoughts about Blue Banisters (perfectly underrated)❤🩹. At first I only listened to the most listened track "Dealer" and honestly thought the whole theme of the album was too heavy and dark for me. However, life's been pretty complicated and I'm totally pressed with everything happening rn so I decided to give the album another try (listening to music is 1 of the ways to suck it up because I found nobody to share about whatever I'm going through in my mind and else😿), this time every single song in it hits the bottom of me, I've never cried so hard to music as much as I did to Blue Banisters, it certainly did heal parts of me though not whole but I'm seriously grateful ... I can never thanked Lana Del Rey enough for releasing such beautiful album like that ❤ (idk why every songs on the album drift my mind back to my mom and its js too much😿).
You are so funny
Lol, pop stars have been doing shit like this for ages. Take the Onyx tour Britney did for example, that entire show was an orgasm 😂. Her song If U Seek Amy!?... And let's not get started on Madonna. That person being so upset must be living under a rock, like literally. Or jesus is raising them.
She doesn't have an Adam's apple and her build is so slight .. her rear end looks shapely like a female and her chest look real to me. I don't buy the trans thing. I think it's some weird niche guerilla marketing stuff.
I started singing and shouting because of linkin park and been making music a long ass time now. the biggest potential on the album is overflow for me. i wish they would have going heavy on that one and im pretty sure they had the same thing in mind that i feel there. emily isnt bad at all but yeah.. my benchmark for singing was given up. chester was one of a kind, after years of pain and training im a semitone under him but im a barritone so yeah.. there is something more important as a singer and that is the pain you felt on your way and how genuine you are. the best singers are the good souls that were treated horribly wrong when growing up. you can hear the pain in the voice and like i start tearing up sometimes when i perform im pretty sure chester did too. you can not train that and its nothing to be proud of tbh, its just a fact. many potential singers just dont come up because they die young or fall too deep before reaching others with the music.
I feel like From Zero tries blending the Hybrid Theory/Meteora LP Style with the "new" more pop style LP. Now judging the album by the early Nu Metal Style standards, makes this a very mediocre album. Considering the stuff on Minutes to Midnight and Onward, it's actually really good I think. I also feel like a lot of People really ignore that LP (with Chester) put out some Albums that were extremely trash. #transformers 😅
It's actually really good imo. Granted my expectations were honestly low, they surpassed them pretty well. There are a couple luke warm songs, cut the bridge is meh with some shining qualities. But, I think this was more of a "proving grounds" album. Kinda feels like they're showing us what they can do/what's to come, which in keeping Linkin Park after losing one of its poster children - they needed to do to establish they aren't like all the bands before them who tried to keep going and just made it weird. It's different. But I'm here for it.
Finally someone who sees it the same way I did. It was so underwhelming and average. It was like a poor imitation of Hybrid Theory
Mike Shinoda already had his own band called Xero. The name was changed to Linkin Park for copyright reasons.
Their new album is awful! Sounds so generic and ruined Chester's legacy. Hey, but Shinoda needed more money and couldn't make any without using LP's name.
Chester's legacy can't be ruined by generic music, when half of the music Mike wrote for everyone was already generic... mildly confined to whatever genre they were working with.
@@jc1424 Shinoda still ruined LP by forming this new lineup. Shinoda should have left LP the way it was after CB's death. Because his solo career bombed so badly where he couldn't make the money he was used to, he put together a band that's not LP but uses their name to make a ton of money.
@rilenixx Chester already said he wanted the band to be more than any of their individual personalities. It might be ruined for you or a bunch of other people, but they can't be bothered to base what they do on what negative nancies say. He and his friends all seem to be enjoying doing what they love for a career, and they got millions of fans still supportive to this day.
@@jc1424 Here are some statistics on what the entire world thinks of the new lineup. Go to any of their new music uploads on their own YT channel. You will find every single upload of new music have X amount of views and every single upload of their music only has 2% to 5% LIKES compared to views. Their new music is trash and over 95% who listen to it don't like it. Shinoda did this to make money and nothing else. Of course he's enjoying himself. It's not LP and half of their lineup are new members. Should have never been named LP. Chester was talking about the band he was in and not this new lineup. Emily is a scientologist who doesn't believe mental health or depression even exist. Great choice by Shinoda to bring her in considering CB unalived himself and suffered tremendously from depression.
@rilenixx Yes I think most people do their jobs because they pay money. Mike, Joe, Brad, and even Emily all have spent their entire careers making music because they very much enjoy it and it pays their bills. Nothing really changed there. TH-cam statistics not telling me anything because Numb has 2.3B views and 14M likes, which is a ratio of 0.6%... if people don't like Linkin Park, maybe they would stop listening, stop buying merch, and stop going to shows. Cause it sure is working out quite well for everyone who is still a fan. And Emily's lyrics over the years and lack of statements on all that extra stuff say otherwise. I can't bothered to care in the first place, because she isn't trying to hurt anyone.
The sound, arrangements and vocals are good but the songwriting just is not there save for a couple tracks.
Ok the album has some good and some bad songs but having only good songs is not something I could ever expect form any album but that may be due to the way I listen to music and while I agree that two faced is very good, the second best song in the whole album, the number 1 spot is the emptyness machine no doubt and I don't like the other two singles in fact no other song comes close to these two but there are still better and worse ones
The album is bad. They need to change the band name. LP is definitely know for their lyrics and the emotion that Chester brought to said lyrics.
I agree. Shinoda couldn't make that money doing his solo stuff so he knew he had to use LP's name to make more money. So, he replaces Chester with Emily. Absolutely terrible decision. Then a new drummer and guitarist. It's not LP.

i love the room vibe
thank you!!
Album is awesome and emily is so great!
The hit/miss take pretty much sums up what kind of LP fan you are and that’s perfectly fine. Everyone has their preferences but there’s a reason behind each album being its own thing and exploring different sounds so naturally it’d attract its own set of fans.
I love how they’ve pushed boundaries in the past and how their previous albums didn’t stick to that one genre. I just don’t feel like Emily has that range to be able to do that like Chester was able to there but hopefully I’m wrong cause she has insane potential
Album is fucking dope!
The album is amazing, but we all have different music tastes, so is okay if you don't like it.
Overcome I lowkey like
my favourite one! along with Good Things Go
Instead of concentrating on the shift concentrate on music and singing lyrics etc...leave scientology out of ot as she does that is herprivate shit has nothing to do eith music she is greatxx

What a cute 🥰 also not a fan tbh new sound either
💖
tbh i was always suspicious of linkin park's new band leader & now that you mention her links to scientology it definitely raises my brows even more. like i was just like "why not just start a new band instead of making things that aren't even for the genre" & like dgmw female leads - especially woc as leads - in rock bands are ridiculously hard to come by, especially these days, but, like, still. ive personally never listened to the band's new stuff bc idk it just could Not compare to chester (rip legend 😭). especially when you mentioned like alt pop im like "HUH 😭". last time i checked it was a rock band not a pop thing lmao.
Real it was always rock this shit is suspicious
You should listen to their album “One more light” with Chester. You might change your mind about what they sound like haha.
You know Linkin Park is actually Mikes band and Chester was never in the band from the start.

Adele wasn't even really into music until she heard the album 'Frank'
I love this, I wish more similiar videos about her were done. There is one that spans close to a hour and tells a lot of her story. th-cam.com/video/X2JICLxNRSQ/w-d-xo.html Yours and Sloan's stick out from the others because you're fans speaking passionately about her and not just spewing facts, because many of her fans feel this way about her and shines a light how she could impact the next generation of her fanbase. "Hm, maybe I was too harsh on her and should have actually learned and tried to understand her story." If only more could say this, because I used to be that way. I didn't know who Amy was until she died, still dismissed her as an addict and never bothered with her music at all because I was just an ignorant 13 year old at the time living in a box I refused to leave. Amy was a very sensitive person, yes she wanted to be famous but you can never be prepared for it, you have to go through it yourself to comprehend the intense life it comes with. And dickheads acting like they know everything and claiming '"she's a waste", or "she's just another stupid dead junkie" (I've tried to convince them it's been long confirmed she died of alcohol poisoning and had been clean from street drugs for three years at that point except a little weed) are reminders of how judgemental people can be about the sufferings of others especially those who have never had their tarot cards shuffled. Drugs and alcohol are so common in the high life especially the entertainment world, because their lives are SO hard to deal with when that level of fame is reached. Michael Jackson was just one of those many addicts in the music industry who's significance is infallible. Highly recommended reading: My Amy: The Life We Shared by her best friend Tyler James and "Loving Amy" by her mother, Janis Winehouse. Janis's book covers things from Amy's early life that no others do. She was ill with multiple sclerosis and that was what was holding her back from helping her daughter the best she could. Those are the only books I'd suggest because her father's is something else. Mitch did not care about her in a way a loving father would, I thought he talked about himself too much and it's clear in a lot of passages that he's blowing smoke up his own ass. The 2015 documentary "AMY" pretty much shows all you need to know about him. And the fact he was talking about her tit job in a way a father should never talk about his daughter was disturbing in itself and I cannot help that my head starts diving into conspiracy theories about their relationship that people in her life don't know about or are trying to cover up. Maybe, it goes much deeper than some greedy, opportunistic father. Amy's stylist, Naomi Parry did a book called "Beyond Black" which is interesting if you want to know more about Amy's style and such, but she always struck me as iffy after Amy's death, selling personal items of hers and things like that.
thank you sooo much!!

You being scared was an appropriate anticipation.
Text wall incoming I personally think that this is her most disturbing song. Perverts started with each song being built around a type of pervert. A sex addict, drug addict, pdfile, etc. Punish and amber waves (both she performed live while touring) were the only songs that stuck with this concept. Punish was written while Hayden and a friend were driving down backroads, and ended up in Miracle Village. She wrote punish there, and a lot of the track was recorded on her phone. This is gonna get really dark... Miracle village is considered a safe haven for sexual offenders. She wrote this song imagining what it would be like to live in the seclusion that is rhat village, with the heaviest feeling of guilt imaginable. All of that is to say that Hayden seems to at least sorta believe in death of the author, so assign whatever meaning to it that you feel is apt. Before she explained it, I was torn between the meaning she gave to it, the inverse (shame and self hatred from being SAd), or shame around using masturbation to reach the ring. Latter is bc if the "heaven has forsaken the masturbator" merch she's been selling.
@@mother_of_wasps how did i miss this!! Fucking hell this gets really deep and dark, only the mind of Ethel Cain could come up with this
She did a video for Famous Last Words last year, but I’m still holding onto the small chance that it’ll be on Perverts 🙏
