Beverly Hills Cop (1984) - Axel Foley Goes to Beverly Hills
After his childhood friend is murdered, Axel Foley decides to go to Beverly Hills to investigate the crime.
"Beverly Hills Cop" Belongs to Paramount Studios. I do not own anything in this video, this video is only for entertainment purposes.

I'll never be able to see this film without remembering the BBC tv version broadcast in late 1992 in which all the swearing had been edited and minced around. "Narrow ass" became "narrassan". My brother and I still joke about it to this day.
I just didn't walk in from the cotton fields. Lol
$235 USD holy shit that was a lot back then. To a lot of Americans net pay would have been 4 days wage. I'd say shy of 800 bucks now and maybe that's what they charge
4:36 all the way to 5:08, Axel was radiating his voice like a tsunami 🌊 to get everyone’s attention and to make a bad image to this hotel if he doesn’t get a room.
Beverly Hills changed for the worse Watching videos of how now Beverly Hills look like a ghost town, closed stores and rampant crime
His momentary silence for the daily rate 😂
Look at his eyes after " if you decide to butt into this case, it'll be the longest vacation you ever heard of ❤❤
I thought that was Gil Hill playing the inspector
Being rich and living in Beverly Hills in the 80s must’ve felt like heaven
If you had the means Beverly Hills would’ve been like toy town in the 80s
Is it different today? The same applies to Malibu.
Welcome To Beverly Hills!
Beverly Hills Cop 1 & South Park
Is there anyone else who loved it when Inspector Todd said "Just, don't do a damn thing!"? 😂😂😂
Miss 80's tv shows and movies so much
Meat wagon
A true classic. Whenever I give a name at restaurants for a reservation I use Victor Maitland. “That would be a neat trick.”
It saddens me a lot how Beverly Hills changed for the worse Watching videos of how now Beverly Hills look like a ghost town, closed stores and rampant crime I wish I had a Time Machine and go back to the old days Back when not only Beverly Hills but also the whole country was a better place
I wouldn’t say the whole country, but yeah
I mean I was there yesterday it’s still pretty fabulous and nothing like you describe. You might want to get out once in awhile.
@@ManuelFlores-oe2wf Yes, you can see this clearly in the numerous walking videos here on youtube, it has the same effect as in this video, only with today's fashionable zeitgeist.
What is the name of that song?
It’s so sad that politics have destroyed California, hopefully things will turn around someday
Gil Hill would have made a great dramatic actor if he wasn't in politics
I wonder if this is the same car as in the movie “9 to 5”?
The funny thing is, that hotel is near Skid Row and not Beverly Hills

😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Great movie! One of the best Eddie Murphy movies made, Beverly Hills cop 2 is my favorite out of all of them.
I hope they did this with Beverly Hill cop 4 when he went back to Beverly Hill again
My boss from Moscow said she was watching this movie & knew immediately she was going to Beverly Hills. Within a year- she ended up working at an art gallery off Rodeo. She didn't speak English, but she was inspired by Beverly Hills Cop.
I love him laughing at the two leather clad dudes yet he was rocking those outfits in the 80s himself 😂
I think that is why he was laughing. It was so unexpected because the people he saw on the streets were not extras.

Inspector Todd is so funny.
Beverly Hills Cop - 1984 Beverly Hills Cop 2 - 1987 Beverly Hills Cop 3 - 1994 Beverly Hills Cop 4 - 2024
Beverly Hill cop 3 was actually 1993.
@@HG-qi3cp no, 1994 it's on En-Wiki.
I didn’t know Don Simpson and Jerry Bruckheimer produced this when I first saw it. It doesn’t have the Don Simpson/Jerry Bruckheimer Films logo at the beginning. Love this film though.
Always puts a smile on my face. What a great film
I was OBSESSED with the arriving to L.A. scene as a kid. Obsessed. I re-wound the VHS 1000 times (remember VHSs?). It was the combination of seeing "Los Angeles" and Patti Labelle's voice. At that point, I had never seen or heard anything like this. This movie is ICONIC.
me too! And I finally visited Beverly Hills last summer I had still this song on my mind all the time hahah the same places he was there haha
Got to drive through Beverly Hills a few years ago cranking "Stir It Up." Not bad for a poor kid from Dublin who also saw this on VHS.
@@dars5229 That is amazing, man. Cheers! I've been to Beverly Hills a few times at this point, but never with the privilege of blasting this song. Next time for me ;).
“We’re talking about a friend of mine here!!” Great line. Always loved Axel’s combination of humour and intensity. Amazing movie 🍿 4/4.
Can someone tell me why that little riff at the begging of the stir it up? Why is not in the actual song? Can I have some answers anyways I really love this film one the best in my opinion
Wonderful scene. Back when California was still a beautiful state, not just a total shithole.
One of the greatest sequences in Hollywood history. Pure visual storytelling with Eddie's comedic talents. LOVE this.
😂
I love that song.
I have a feeling he’s not in Detroit anymore.
South Park Memberberries brought me here.
i miss eddie murphy
The cotton field remark always cracks me up. And man, when "Stir It Up" sets in, it's just divine!
Love this movie Love Patti LaBelle singing.
Love this movie 🥳🍻🍰
It's not a request, Axel? What was it then?
235 in Beverly hills..here's my card!! 2022!!
Well, Noir was born to play Axel Foley
This is my favorite scene in the movie
From one Eddie to another Eddie please make a part 4 of this movie
This movie had it all comedy action and such still a great movie
I wonder, are the "rich and glamorous" shops still on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills today?
