SMR as an innovation in energy production
The next-generation Small Modular Reactor (SMR) is a safe and cost-effective technology developed by KHNP, aimed at accelerating global carbon neutrality.
With a size about 1/100 of large reactors, it can be installed in diverse locations and features a fully passive safety system to eliminate risks like coolant leakage.
Over 80 SMRs are currently in development worldwide, with commercialization efforts in Korea targeting the 2030s.
The SMR will support smart cities and provide a stable energy mix for future demands, contributing to a sustainable future for humanity.

    Hello, Sir, Happy New Year. I hope you are well. I am a professional digital marketer and SEO expert. I already visited and analyzed your TH-cam channel. KHNP Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co., Ltd." Your channel and video content are excellent. Your video's thumbnail is beautiful. But there are some problems in your channel: 1. The video SEO score is very low. 2. The title and description are not SEO -friendly 3. You did not add a high-volume ranked tag. 4. You did not add the triple keyword in your video. As a result, views, likes, and subscribers are not increasing.

    I agree, too. This is a wonderful visual representation. And it goes deep but simplistic into the laws of physics, too. Bravo.

    Nikola Tesla experimented with X-rays in the late 19th century, even before they were formally discovered and named by Wilhelm Röntgen in 1895. As early as 1894, Tesla used his high-voltage devices and vacuum tubes to generate unknown rays, which he referred to as "invisible rays" at the time. Tesla discovered that these rays could pass through materials such as the human body and create images on photographic plates, though he did not have enough evidence to fully understand the phenomenon. After Röntgen's announcement of the discovery of X-rays in 1895, Tesla recognized the similarity to his earlier experiments and immediately resumed his research. In 1896, Tesla published his observations on X-rays and produced a series of advanced X-ray images, including photographs of his own hand. During these experiments, he also identified the potential dangers of X-ray exposure, such as skin burns, long before they were widely acknowledged. Thus, Tesla experimented with X-rays from 1894 onwards, making significant contributions to the understanding of this phenomenon.

    5:10 "Heavy water slows down the speed of neutrons more than light water simply because it is heavier" ... I thought that light water is a better moderator in terms of elastic scattering, but the hydrogen tends to absorb more neutrons, making the chain reaction more difficult (impossible?) to achieve.

    • @mulletphish
      @mulletphish หลายเดือนก่อน

      Agreed. Fantastic videos! ..but that quoted excerpt from the video is wrong and they ought to change it. I was going to make the same comment. Hydrogen and *lighter* elements are better moderators in theory but the hydrogen in light water will absorb some neutrons and eat some reactivity (i.e. poorer neutron economy). That's why U enrichment is required for LWRs but not necessarily for HWRs.

    Simple and clear presentation of how things work! Amazing how a nuclear plant uses all the same principles of heat exchange, just as in conventional power plants, just the fuel is different.

    very easily explained... hope world choose Nuclear over battery storage.. Wokes are choosing oil & even coal over nuclear till the time they open pandora box to supply unlimited energy at low cost with value of marxism or leninism or even musilm brotherhood... US has it's days no Korea Japan France must take the lead to improve & operationalize Nuclear Power Plants..
