These are from the dashcams of my family. The letters after comet denote which vehicle it is from. D is from my vehicle (Dad), M is from mom, T is from our son, and K is from our daughter.
GPS Sleeping
My GPS was SLEEPING. This is what happens when you pull out to close for your GPS to give you the directions in time but it stills gives after the fact.

Too Fast in the Rain

Two cars went off the road because of the weather. I first pass a car in the medium stuck spinning tires trying to get out, and then pass a car on the right the had crashed into the trees a mile later. This is just driving too fast in bad weather.
Not Even Close

Either driver was messing with their phone or color-blind because they weren't even close to making the light.
IT WASN'T ME

I was leaving the shopping area when I heard the police siren. I saw the office and two vehicles behind me, so I pulled over so he could pass. The car behind me did the same, but the officer fell in behind him. I knew I didn't do anything, so I beat my feet out of there.

Pick up Runs Red Light

Pick up with trailer took off when the turn lane turned green running the red light. Fortunately, the opposing turn lane was paying attention and avoided the accident.
Logging Truck Blows Red Light

Logging blew through a red light well after it was red. You can count at least 2 seconds after the light had turned green for our side. Fortunately, nobody had started moving.
Vehicle through Fence

From the dashcam from my office. This vehicle went through the fence separating the access road and the interstate. Fortunately, no oncoming traffic and maintained control, plus no injuries.
My Driver Pulled Out Too Early

I wasn't a happy camper when I reviewed this video. My driver pulled out and cut another driver off. And in my car to boot. This happened between Rockford and Clanton, AL. It was an entry between two high spots, but I am betting the truck could be seen before the driver pulled out.

Person with Personalized Plate Can't Drive

Having a personalized plate lets people know who you are and talk about a bad driver. This driver about drove into me turning right cause she can't read the road lines. I hope she is a better doctor than she is a driver.

I don't know what it is about people driving cars that makes them fascinated with big trucks, I mean these people will drive down the road anywhere from 15 to 30 miles an hour over the speed limit but they'll pull up beside a big truck and want to slow down and ride beside of them, seemingly on purpose when you're coming up on a get on ramp with a row of traffic coming down it wanting to get on the interstate, and that drives me slam up the wall.
They have never had a tire blowout next to them or had a driver suddenly swerve because they are tired.

I wouldn’t say you did anything wrong, looks to be safe following distance. Just unfortunate that the tire on the truck blew and you had nowhere to go. I thought you had gotten a flat but apparently not Guessing some minor cosmetic body damage though.
It caught part of the trim under my front bumper and broke the wires to my right after-market fog light. I did have to remove it eventually. I was in the wrong place when it blew. Had I been going slower I would have tried swirving but at 70 I don't make any quick moves.
Both were idiots here. The slow ass pickup taking a week to pass and hogging the passing lane and the semi for trying to run him off the road. In Illinois, the move over law exists but you only move over if it’s safe to do so. If a vehicle is next to you, you stay in your lane. The semi purposely tried to run the truck off the road.

I reviewed it multiple times. After the black truck passed the proper procedure would be to look right again before pulling out. I think the truck was speeding, but there was enough road that it would have been seen with a quick glance to the right before pulling out. Fortunately, nothing happened.
The truck was flying too low, and when you're pulling out like that we tend to assume that traffic is going the speed limit. I was hit by a car going 70 mph in a residential area, because I assumed the same thing!

A mistake that didn't cost you the truck, but thanks for posting, a really useful lesson. My only observation - and this is for people generally - 0:21 be careful running off the driving line. The amount of nails, screws etc that get thrown there as the cars "clean" the running lane is quite something.
I was taking the exit so the timing really sucked with the blowout. Had it blown 5 seconds earlier or 10 seconds later I would have missed it.
@@CometDashcam Yes: I watched it and thought it was bad luck. And, it's not difficult to close down the distance when your coming of at a junction especially behind trucks. As I say thanks for posting as it will make me be a bit more mindful of that in future. Yes it sucked, and yes it's annoying, but at least that was the worst of it.
