Breaking the Chains of Conventional Drug Research Models with Organ-Chips
Want to learn more about Organ-Chips? Download our eBook on how to get started with the technology: emulatebio.com/resources/introduction-to-organ-chips-ebook/?breaking-the-chains-webinar
Despite exponential improvements to research technology over the last few decades, 90% of drug candidates are still failing in clinical trials. The reason for this massive translation gap is widely agreed upon, and yet rarely acknowledged: Animal models don’t sufficiently predict human response.
By continuing to rely on misleading data from animal models, R&D productivity will continue to stagnate, and critical life-saving drugs will continue to escape our grasp. It’s time to stop curing cancer in rats and start curing cancer in humans.
Organ-on-a-Chip technology is enabling researchers to decrease the translation gap by providing better insight into human response much earlier in the drug development workflow and offers the key to creating truly human-centric therapies.
In this webinar, you will learn:
What scientists across academia and industry are saying about misleading data from conventional research models
Why animal models fail to predict human response
How Organ-on-a-Chip technology is helping researchers overcome pervasive barriers to bridge the translation gap

Preview: Efficacy Evaluation of AAV-Delivered Liver-Specific Promoters
มุมมอง 1078 หลายเดือนก่อน
Watch the full webinar here: bit.ly/3UNV4S7 Adeno-associated virus (AAV)-derived vectors have emerged as a promising gene delivery vehicle for a broad range of clinical indications. The liver in particular is an interesting target as it is easily transduced with AAV vectors and allows a persistent expression of the transgene. However, off-target gene transduction remains a significant challenge...

Ready to get started? Visit our website to learn more about Organ-on-a-Chip technology and how you can use them in your research: bit.ly/3Ot60jZ Since the early 1900s, scientists have been using conventional 2D cell culture to study human biology and have made tremendous strides doing so. However, time has revealed that 2D cell culture’s artificial nature-including the use of cancerous cell lin...
Evaluating Solid Tumor CAR T Efficacy with Organ-on-a-Chip Technology
มุมมอง 12K11 หลายเดือนก่อน
Chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy holds great promise as a treatment for a variety of human cancers, but successfully adapting this treatment for solid tumors has remained elusive. A major challenge is that conventional 2D cell models are unable to recreate the journey that solid tumor CAR T-cell therapy undergoes in the human body. In this video, see how Emulate Organ-Chips can be...
