I would put peanuts in that bowl. I forgot about minstrels because M&Ms have dominated the market. When i was a kid in the 80s, you couldn't get M&Ms or Skittles in the UK. It was Minstrels, Maltesers or Revels. I loved Revels!

I am not a lover of brussels sprouts either. But a friend made a salad with raw brussels sprouts shredded up. It was delicious. You might try a raw salad. To me the chase is totally different. If you were interested, it was just shredded brussels sprouts, cranberries, sugared, pecans, bacon, scallions with a vinaigrette

I love St. Pancras International Station (it's my favourite station!) but I am always disappointed that they don't have a big proper Christmas tree. I know the station has to make money, but I think it would be nice to have a large tree with lights and decorations for children and big children like us!! x

Did Oxford St last Sunday. I found them a little underwhelming. Regent St and Carnaby St are a lot better. Bond St is looking good from what I have seen. Particularly around Cartier and Ralph Lauren. Kings Cross Xmas market opens 21st Nov. Will be alpine themed but also a Mexican one. I want to see you curling at Coal Drops Yard 😄

Hello Emily, I don’t like the Wicked tree just too commercialised for me, the small one nearby was much more festive. I was hoping you’d show the name of the last book you were looking through with the drawings & English beer, have you any idea what it was? The Christmas lights looked lovely but I think the shop windows are a little disappointing, it seems to be Wicked everywhere. I’ve just completed a crochet Nativity wreath with Mary, Joseph & baby Jesus so I decided too leave it up when I took my crochet poppy wreath down, so I’m very early putting up a Christmas decoration this year. Thanks for the tour round the lights & F&M.xx
