If I wanted to start with a 'base' of wet felting, would there be any problem if i then use needles to add features to it? That is, if i were to make a sheep, and I wet felted the body, could I use needles to add the head and legs,etc once it dries? Thanks!
Hi there, Yes, you can definitely do that! Starting with a base of wet felting and then using needles to add features once it dries is a common technique in felting. This method allows you to create a sturdy base and then add more details with needle felting. It should work perfectly for making a sheep by wet felting the body first and then using needles to add the head, legs, and other details.
