Welcome to SirNoordin & Zaza Adventures!
This time, we’re embarking on an incredible journey to experience the Annapurna Base Camp hike in Nepal this December 2025.
It’s a special adventure for Zaza, as this is her very first hiking experience. Despite having never hiked before, she’s ready to take on this challenge and enjoy the breathtaking views of Nepal’s majestic mountains.
We’re grateful to Nepal Treks and Tours for organizing this adventure. A big thank you to Saran (the owner), our amazing guide Nir Kumar, and our hardworking porters, Sammu and Uncle, for making this trip possible.
Itinerary Highlights:
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Day 2: Flight to Pokhara (delayed by 2 hours), 4x4 drive to Jhinu Danda (on a road under construction). Started hiking at 5:15 PM in the dark and reached Chomrong by 7:00 PM.
Day 3: A beautiful day in Chomrong. Tea break at Lower Sinuwa, lunch at Upper Sinuwa, and arrived at Bamboo by 5:00 PM for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Hiked from Bamboo to Upper Dovan for a tea break, then to Himalaya for lunch, and ended the day at Deurali, arriving at 4:45 PM.
Day 5: From Deurali, we trekked to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC) for lunch, arriving at 2:00 PM. Unfortunately, Zaza experienced symptoms of Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS). Despite this, we continued to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Day 6: Emergency helicopter evacuation for Zaza back to Pokhara.
Day 7: A relaxing day enjoying a serene boat ride on Phewa Lake in Pokhara.
Day 8: Flight back to Kathmandu.
Day 9: Flight back to Kuala Lumpur.
Day 10: Flight home to Brunei.
