@Swimmingforlife. love their fleet! I remember caithness glass when I was younger, too. Harbour cafe there now Is called Wickers world and there food is brilliant! Always busy, too! I also worked at norfrost for a few months, and now it's finished! Thanks for looking, Johnny. Take care!

@Swimmingforlife Johnny, I've travelled around that part of Scotland more since leaving trucking, the furthest north we used to travel was a regular with Michelin tyres to Aberdeen and glass bulbs to Buckie, where they fitted the caps and filaments. @ Hi Colin, yes as lorry drivers we were all over the U.K. and I did Ireland also, both North and Southern Ireland in the mid 70s, also done Holland, sailed from Hull to Rotterdam, mind you Colin it was a one drop in The Hague. Yes you are right Colin, as drivers we were everywhere but never ever seen the sights, as they say, we were just passing through😂. Like you now Colin, my wife and I seem to do a lot more sight seeing now and visit places and quite often stop over and see a lot more. Nice unit and trailer, left hand drive, on uk plates, must spend alot of time abroad i guess. When i was tramping i used to try and hide away from the fridge/freezer lorries, I never know how the driver sleeps with that behind them running.😊

@gone-in-sixty-seconds Hi, yes, they are repairing an area that was ready to clapse. It's now set to be back filled soon with concrete. Next, I would think I was down by the otherday they where welding the metal together to get ready for backfilling, I think, and divers are working under the water, too. Unfortunately, I didn't see that part thanks for your comment 👍 🙂
