Excellent breakdown here
Love you videos!!! Thank you I learned a lot… please make a video about how to be more calm under pressure
Bible scriptures that I believe are what a lot of the ideas of stoicism are based on. "In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'” - Act 20:35, The Apostle Paul. "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you-you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." - Mathew 6:25-34, Jesus Christ - Sermon On The Mount. "Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them-not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve; not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock." - 1st Peter 5:2,3, The Apostle Peter. "You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am. Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you." - John 13:13-15, Jesus Christ - The Last Supper. "For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted." - Mathew 23:12.

When I say I love Tommy, most people assume it’s because Cillian Murphy portrays him but it’s not that. It’s his strength and resilience and the fact that he thrives in fight or flight, in chaos, and he weathers the storm, often times becoming it. He’s a force of nature with his personality and the traits of stoicism he exudes effortless because it’s part of his character. He’s a good bad guy which in itself is a paradox. One of the strongest characters I’ve ever seen.
@@Valkyr713 poeticly described, I think that’s why he’s one of the GOAT characters in movie and TV shows

Good series. Good study from your series.
thanks for sharing that's a good explanation i'm on the edge to start using my authenticity please do a video about leadership of tyler
To answer the question proposed at the end, to sum it up: Your life's course isn't determined by your circumstances, but what you choose to do within those circumstances. For example, some people come from extremely abusive backgrounds, and yet become the very best you can ask from a human being, because while in one way or another they bear the scars from it, they don't allow their trauma to dictate the type of people they will be. They choose to rise above it and be better. Your life and who and what you are as a person is ultimately determened by the choices you make, not your background or your current circumstances.
@@thecowboy9698 yeah you’re right, the goal of these videos is to inspire others to develop thought patterns like that - a famous German rapper just dropped his last album and on it he had a line that goes like: ,,You decide for yourself and have to assess, whether they are traumatas or life lessons,,
@SaintSimon111 - The biggest fault I see is that as people we are all too willing to blame others or outside circumstances for not doing what we know we either need to do, or from achieving what we "claim" we want. If you truly want to do something, nothing is gonna stop you. If you don't really wan to do something, you will find any reason as an excuse as to why you did not do it; or that you did not do the things that will set in motion the outcome you "claim" you want. I think Katie Holmes in Batman Begins said it best: "It's not what you are underneath, but what you do that defines you." Essentially, actiona speak louder than words.
@@thecowboy9698a mentor of mine once said ,,who wants will find ways, who don’t will find excuses,,
@SaintSimon111 - In my own experience, I can say without hesitation or reserve that that is 100-percent correct. Words mean nothing unless they're backed up by action. You can say you want to get in shape for example, but if you truly do not want to do it, you'll find every excuse possible, legitimate or otherwise, so as not to put the time into accomplishing that goal. Other people will come to see it, and therefore not take you seriously, judging you by your actions, which is how you truly get to know the actual intrntions of others.
@@thecowboy9698 yeah that’s also a principle from Atomic Habits = we have to change our identity to someone who actually enjoys to work out, this way we overcome addiction Long Term and build long lasting habits, because we remove this way the will power aspect No one is forcing you but you actually want to get in shape because it’s naturally who you are, similar to eating clean, etc
It’s stoicism not stoism
@@sevntysixr do you mean the title?
@@saintsimonofficialthe narrator in the video says stoism instead of stoicism
@@sevntysixr ah yeah you’re right, English grammar mistake - I work right now on my fluency & eloquence for future videos If you compare the first and newest videos you see that these kind of mistakes improve with each video
Randomly found this channel, liked the video many good points. I used to be a “sigma” if you would put it, but since leaving school and seeing the real world and how others see me has made me change my looks, emotions, personality basically everything about me to the point of me becoming as you would say “simp” The thing is when I was a quote sigma I was a total dick who wouldn’t listen to anyone or anything doing what I wanted when I wanted whenever I wanted I was an idiot you can say. Now becoming a simp I’m the complete opposite but I kinda hate it, at the same time I can’t go back to life I had because I know if I pick that life I will be failure compared to how I am now. How can I integrate both , how can I mix both personalities into one?
@@Samuelpurvis45 thanks for sharing your perspective ❤️👑 > I also used to be similar in school (like a dick) but this “dick behavior” similar to Jack in the movie is also a form of imposter syndrome where we antagonize the world around us, it’s m a form of ego coping mechanism The more you heal from old traumas and get in balance with yourself the more you become harmony with others = this way you keep the positive traits like confidence, authenticity, intelligence, humor, etc … -Without the toxic traits like narcism, arrogance, ignorance, addiction etc… It sounds like you been from one extreme to another throughout your life For me I went (especially as teeanger) from one extreme to another extreme until I became over time more and more the harmony of both Similar what Bruce Lee describes in the video = in each case it’s a bit different because we are all individuals and struggle with different things -> that’s why I share my experiences in these videos as inspiration for others to explore similar themes in their life -> I also build right now a skool community (will launch probably next months) where we will do live group calls where people can describe their individual life situation to get a personalized tailor made approach
I saw a comment you left on "Modern Spongebobs Biggest Nostalgia Bait Episode" by Awe and I recommend you watch "A better schedule for Nickelodeon's main block" by Evan Rosman.

Can you make more Peaky Blinders videos continuing onto Season 2?

Thanks, if you have wishes for topics / themes / movies / characters write it under one of the videos In future there will be also book analysis oder just essay to topics / themes that people wished/asked for
I have a question how you script and plan your videos i want to learn. Please guide me
Ah that’s easy, just check out my patreon in the Link Tree or description There for free, you can read and download all the scripts Currently there is the script for this video but I upload the other scripts the next days 1. I always watch the movie and make notes (First Draft) and then 2. I look through the notes to see what are the themes / topics / commen thread 3. and then from those notes and I write a second draft like a blog post / screenplay Because originally I started this already 2022 but as a blog and then realized that TH-cam is more fun than just writing blog posts
Beautiful video made me cry
Great video! I loved the references to dharma. You should make episodes about the other movies!
There will be soon also a whole video about Dharma and how to find/understand your own dharma Do you mean pther episodes like planet of apes 2 and 3? I also thought about that
@@saintsimonofficial great! Yes possibly the character arch’s for Caesar in each movie.
@@paulvalenzuela7994 Caesar is in the second movie an example for the Golden King Archetype What within itself has a lot of cool themes around that The main direction would probably be: the difference between Caesar and Koba
@@saintsimonofficial sounds great! Hope that becomes a video!
Great video! very well made.
Caesar was born as an ape but was raised as a human but his knowledge was evolved from the beginning in his mom (Bright Eyes) womb and the teachings from his adoptive father Will Rodman made him smarter to communicate with other humans but to also educate other apes. Him being a leader adapted and improved to others as Rocket, Buck and Maurice as his disciples, Koba was also a follower but the abuse he was given after being sperated from his former caretaker made him have bloodthirsty to the humans.
Yeah, There will be probably also a video about planet of apes 2, there we will explore more in depth the difference between Caesar and Koba Because it shows us many things about leadership but mostly about why Caesar and Koba so different Like you said because they are both raised differently
