The lag I get when I play with Kulutues can vary. I live on the west coast and he lives on the east coast of North America, so it's usually not too bad. Sometimes i have to anticipate my actions and trust my inputs. You might want to try going to your settings on steam and trying a different download region. I recently did this with a friend who lives in Europe and we found the connection was much less laggy for the non-host. Hope it helps!

Ahhh I'll try it. We live in the same city so I was surprised I was so bad. Overcooked was fine, so not really sure what's going on :')

@@Frorg_and_Burb The only thing I can think of is that on Tuesdays, Steam has a lot of updates so the servers are really hit and miss. If you are using mods, make sure you're using the exact same mods list. That tends to reduce lag. Make sure to go verify your files in Steam as well. Hope it helps! I also suggest going to the PlateUp! Discord if you want more advice about reducing lag.

@wonktootie so I have a question I'm on day 6 which I currently can't get past but there's these things on the ground that aren't blueprints or decorations they look like wallpaper or something or like a rolling pin and there's a couple boxes on the ground and it looks like there's different things in there different color you can change the tile or your floor maybe I don't know do you know what I'm talking about. I'm just not sure what they do I can pick the items up in preparation mode but they don't do nothing I don't I don't really understand

@@bruhha....2864 The wallpapers and flooring can be used to decorate your restaurant. Go into a room with the wallpaper/flooring that you want and press the interact button to apply it to the wall/floor. You can also swap/replace existing flooring/wallpaper by applying a new flooring/wallpaper.

Based on the update this year, it looks like the picky eaters option does not show up anymore. But yes, those are all the tricks and treats!

The gas override is an item that may appear in the shop. If you're having trouble finding it, try buying more blueprint desks to increase your chance of locking it in to the store the next day!

The fresh patties card takes a lot of work to make. You need to chop an egg and chop the meat, then combine them into a patty and cook them. That's a lot of extra steps per burger. I liked having the onions grabbed to the mixer because I don't have to chop as much or pick items up to chop them on a counter. Generally, the add-on cards for mains are extra work and not worth the reduction. Sometimes you have to take them though, such as the toppings. Fresh Patties is definitely the worst burger card xD

@@wonktootie Oh right. You need egg for it. I was thinking of the human burger where you only need to knead them. Haha. So, it's similar to crab cakes. Thanks.

The sink you start with is 0.75x the speed of the regular sink you can get in the store, which has 1x washing power. This is also true for the starter hob and the hob you can get from the store.

@revanorucov2166 unfortunately you need to install it through the workshop mod on Steam. Modding is not available on console.

It should work! I do like doing the enchantment stuff though, so I've been trying to bring in research desks on some of my runs to have both desks.

I used a mod called Those Were the Days to access previous updates. The Halloween update for PlateUp! will officially be in the game starting October 24th! :)

I used a mod called Those Were the Days to access previous seasonal updates. This update will be officially released this Thursday for console and PC if you want to wait. Otherwise you'll have to use the mod for now :P

It is a custom map I made with Kitchen Designer. The code for it is in my modded seed share channel in my Discord.

Yeah the Halloween cards have always been funky. Hopefully they're more reliable when the actual Witch Hut update comes out soon!

Yeah, I used the mod to play the Witch Hut Maps (also added the Turbo card). The update is probably coming out this week, assuming they release it before Halloween :P

Chairs act like floor protectors if they are active. Because customers always sit at tables in a specific order (when a table is first placed down, the first seat is right, moving clockwise from the head table ignoring some intricacies. If placed against a wall, the wall is the last “seat” position, so the first seat is the one clockwise from the wall) they can turn the tables so that the customers sit in seats that are less annoying

As Havoc said, we can turn the tables to reduce overall messes. Sometimes we forget to turn them the right number of times though, which can make the day awkward for the server xD If you look at the "Head Tables" section of this video th-cam.com/video/T_YHHGDRqrI/w-d-xo.html it explains how to turn the tables. :)
