@scunthorpebikecrime yup spotted that, not sure about your bike but mine isn't limited by the limit on road signs. If there's dodgy gits about you have a reasonable justification, I'd rather be stopped by a copper at 40 than get assaulted and my bike stolen 😉 although looking at those two scrotes think I could have easily sorted them

I'm loving the quick shifter on it so not actually using the clutch much just starting and stopping I find it ok when cold you get a bit of clutch noise but that's typical Yamaha .wind don't bother me I have ridden naked bikes since late 90s well used to getting battered about ABIT I find it helps to keep speed a bit lower you go above 120 and you know about it lol

Yes you can use it if you can give my little channel a mention 👍 from what I saw that day there was some gravel and debris on the outside of the lane where the biker filtered I assume this cost him to lose control and drop the bike we got him up and he went off on his way . That's why I don't filter right up to roundabouts and drivers are very unpredictable especially on roundabouts hence I hold back a bit . Have a great day

yes exactly that is why I am still amazed they get away with riding about like that in broad daylight when if a law abiding citizen puts a small number plate on or a louder exhaust the are almost guaranteed to get pulled

@@scunthorpebikecrime I don't know about small number plates but a loud exhaust attracts the attention of every copper within half a mile. Whereas helmetless bike thieves with no number plate have to be spotted by a copper who then has to be in a police car to chase them. And the thieves, having narrower, more manouverable scooters, can easily get away from them. And with no number plate there is no way of tracing them.

@@Nooziterp1 yes but there has been lots of reports of police passing them in opposite direction and not even taking a second glance at them. I know police are under funded and under pressure but I have rang them before with exact location of two scum on a bike that got stolen the previous knight I kept eyes on for over an hour and no police appear 🤔

good idea but in winter I do wear a balaclava underneath my helmet to keep my neck and face warm . the fact that they are on a stolen motorcycle with no number plate on should be enough for police to intervene . having said that when entering shops ect I agree you should be identifiable .

@scunthorpebikecrime I know, sadly my partner has been a victim of bike crime in the past 1 they took and the other the police chased because they was close by and managed to retrieve the bike 😔

Not only are these scum terrorising our biker community but they are also driving up insurance costs I was planning to get a 125 for a cheap runabout for work purposes but the insurance quote I got for it was ridiculous I was looking at over £500 to insure a 125 due to it being a high risk bike compared to my mt-09 that I currently have £180 a year work that out lol

agreed the cops can do sod all as we now live in a snowflake nation if you hurt a criminal even a little bit you are in the wrong . In my opinion not always best to ride home unless you are sure you have lost them because if they know where the bike is kept they will probably be back for it . and as fire outrunning them on a more powerful bike not that easy in town these idiot often cut threw red lights or turn out of junctions causing other vehicles to give them way God knows how they don't get killed in pretty sure if I shot thew a red light I would get hit by something but these scrotes seem to get away with it (unfortunately )

I now do carry a chain with 16mm thick links and a big lock you never know when it will come in handy 😜 for locking your bike up that is 👍

no motorcycle steering lock is effective . apparently that bike hade a lock on it as well that the took off in seconds before filming started goes to show light weight chains and locks are useless

@@scunthorpebikecrime the way he just popped the steering lock in seconds using what looked like minimal force is scary, I think manufacturers need to revise their methods and manufacturing processes

agreed but in my opinion manufacturers don't give a toss every bike stollen = an insurance claim that then goes on to another bike sale so it's not in there interests to make them more secure ( just my opinion)

It was locked indoors, I wheeled it out and forgot I'd left the chain inside. I went back in to get it for no longer than 40 seconds. Thanks for the handy tip though smart arse.
