So you don’t tag for any organization? Or are you tagging on behalf of DNR, on your own? I’m very interested in this, even though I live in a landlocked state. I do my best to help the waterways that I basically live on, catching carp and getting rid of them when given the opportunity, and making a better fishery. Id love to participate, not asking for a free boat ride or anything but if you’re in the southeast, I’ll buy gas if I can come out!!

Once saw a Humomgous 4Ft Permit/pompano, didn't come in close for a shot. My biggest 14 lbs, but they grow bigger.According to IGFA the biggest(Permit) was 60 lbs, Pompano 8+ lbs

bro, You're breaking a lot of laws. I will tell you if DNR catches you, you'd be in some big trouble. First off, theres a size limit on caribbean lobster, and those were well under the limit. Secondly, It is illegal to shoot them with a spear gun or hawaiian sling. You can only snare them or its a big fine. Third you should make sure they have no eggs, or another big fine. I admire your interest and as a licensed fisherman myself in St Croix with 650 dives completed, I recommend you to make sure you follow the rules because DNR doesn't mess around if they catch you. I recommend going to Home depot and making your own lobster snare. Then go see Lance and buy a cheap Beuchat spear gun. Go visit some of the local fishermen and make friends, they might show you some tricks and how to make a good lobster snare. I bet Rico would take you out with him. Fish like a local and you'll do well.
