An impressive parade by the Light Dragoons. They were in theatre when K3, the final rotation of the Kiwi contingents, arrived in Bosnia in the latter part of 95. Total respect here. Met a guy recently at Salisbury hospital,he said he was in the Light Dragoons.He's lost both his legs,Spartan taken out by an IED.Lost alot of his mates.Operation panthers claw. We were yakking so much,didnt even get his name. But he was so incredibly positive and never going to give in. The 200th soldier to die in Afghan died in the bed next to him.Very humbling. Felt honoured to have met him .Total respect to our armed forces and allies.

Well done . The best Regiment in the British Army barr none .If i talk to anyone who wishes to join the army .The light Dragoons is the regiment that i tell them to aim for. You'll be able to request which unit you want. I'm guessing your after joining us then? Just speak to the Army Careers Office and tell them where you want to go. Don't get fobbed off with a lesser Regiment.
