Let's walk through the math for adding citric acid to cold-processed soap. Each gram (1 g) of citric acid consumes 0.624 g of sodium hydroxide. So, for every 1 gram of citric acid you add to your recipe, you should add an additional 0.624 grams of sodium hydroxide. I rounded down to 6 g for easy math. Enjoy!!!!

I can't keep a secret!!! The emulsifying wax is the key ingredient to creating an emulsified body butter. The emulsified body butters will be thicker than lotions and therefore require a different ratio of water to oils/butters. Enjoy!

Hey girl I used kokum butter with isopropyl myristate and sour cherry seed oil. It was my first time using kokum. It looked and felt so soft and fluffy like whipped cream and then when I went to pipe it, it turned so liquidy. Do you have any tips or suggestions? Should I use less oil or more kokum? Help!! Pls!! Haha
