Yeah maybe game 1 we could have made that play instead of mycospawning. It just felt so slow at the time. It would have stalled at the very least.

@@MikeDeVo1 I play this version basically, have been on Consign over Dismember. Not sure Dismember is needed with so many other ways to get rid of creatures, but it can be clutch sometimes. Have also considered at least one Abrade since it's so nice to have a card vs Storm that gets both Ral and Medallion.

@MikeDeVo1 Last time I was playing Prison Tron was right before the one ring came out. Life happened, but I didn't want to invest in Rings to keep up with the format. Now that it's gone I'm looking to rebuild a newer list as mine is several years old at this point. TLDR: Your content is helping me out

It's hard to say after just one league, but adding them back means cutting things and I'm not sure what I want the list to look like. Push is supposed to stem the early aggression (Frog, cats etc.) Like yeah we have bridge, but when we don't draw it or it doesn't land... Lots to think about. Appreciate the suggestions!

@MikeDeVo1 I also encountered the original list, I was honestly surprised it cut out ancient stirrings since it digs pretty deep for 1 mama. But the whirs and preordains made the cuts sensible. I'm going to have to double down on the fatal pushes however. It did nothing for you most of the time and you ended up siding them out. You're better off taking them out in its entirety to make the deck more consistent.

That's what people seem to be leaning towards now it seems. 0-2 with most leaning on 0. Which is interesting because it's a crazy strong card, but without raptor, it gets weaker for sure.

@MikeDeVo1 it's a good card, but mardu as other good replacement and bigger threats to play, even with amped raptor I would always just play 1-2 static prison

Alter is a cool card, but I think it would be considered more of a "win more" in this deck if it's not in a combo shell.

All the good cards (Whir & Bridge) costing 3 seemed kinda awkward, especially when you didn't have 2 lands, Mox Opal, 1 Artifact, or had a Whir stuck in hand under Bridge. Probably also correlates with your mulligans tbf, but maybe it's also the lack of Mishra's Bauble. Also, Fomori Vault looked kinda win-more, but I'd be curious if UB surveil land would be good..

I have other videos replacing The One Ring with Palantir, but they’re in the TTB builds. I remember it feeling decent. I want to try the Palantir/Yggdrasil list at some point though.

Nice! Someone actually asked in the comments below, but basically KGC is best when artifact decks are most prevalent ie. Belcher, Broodscale etc. Otherwise, I'd say he's just okay; allowing you to have a wish board and include Blade in it to have 7 instances of Blade rather than 4. He can be a bit clucky as a 4 of 4 drop, but very flexible too. Just one of the many builds of Broodscale currently.

Thank you! As far as what decks to play, I always lean towards “whatever you’re most comfortable with”, but it seems the best decks are Energy, Murktide & Eldrazi. Curious what you have in paper though.

@@MikeDeVo1 Currently have Eldrazi, (used to play TTB alot), yawg, Broodscale and Grinding station in paper. Leaning most towards Yawg or your eldrazi ramp build as i have the most reps on those and fear that 9 rounds of grinding station will melt my brain 😅 Keep you the great content!

Karn is just preference, along side Opal lists and lists without either. It has been discussed that KGC can feel clunky at times, but if more artifact decks popped up, it could be the better selection. It was probably way better when The One Ring was still legal. There's no "best list" so you could make it all work most likely 😎

Nice! Last video I tried Phlage and it didn't really impress me (the escape cost was really difficult, but my mana base could probably have used some work as well). I do like those options though if the mana can work and I think Endurance is a solid flex card right now for the graveyard meta.

As for Betrayal, I wanted to make it work since we've played it in the past, but I'm not sure what I would replace in the sideboard tbh. It could also be brought in against some Eldrazi variants too, but what're your thoughts?

I don't think I want to play bad cards just to enable metal craft, and open up for so much low cost artifact hate. Card quality matters for this deck when you face decks that have ton of interaction. Having 4 balista is nice to have extra creatures, extra removal, extra 0 mana fodder to fleshraker, and also somewhat combos with evolution witness. I like the GY backup plan

Just finished this one and saw several hands where you would keep if you'll just ditch the baubles for more card draw, but they were important for metal craft. Managing this is what I find most annoying on mox builds, but I can see the power of explosive hands! I'd like to see some Agatha souls cauldron love next ❤

This one feels better than the Draco/leyline package. HAving said that, occulus matchup looks a bit shaky. If you were going into a meta where you expected to run into a couple, would you make any changes?

@@ZeraLord That match was a little unfortunate, yeah. If you wanted to hedge against Murktide, you could include some Endurance in your flex spots. So like 2 main 2 side or something like that. Even some Disputes Main if you really wanted to.

Oh that's some interesting tech! I'm a fan of all the flex lands for Mycospawn to get, but not sure what I'd replace for it.

@MikeDeVo1 I've replaced bog myself, my local meta isn't heavy on GY aside from one LE player. Ghost vacum and surgicals in side, so that matchup is covered.

Gruul/Temur Ramp probably is the GOAT, sometimes it's cool to play with aggro with/without flesharakers as well, breach the least cool for me/the most random fo sure

Hey, that's a great catch! That's definitely a solid line to take to unlock our mana. I think I was tunneled on triggering Fleshraker/Ballista because we could technically cast all our spells anyway and we had the Blade Ballista synergy.

I just ran through an Boros Obosh league which was interesting and a stock Boros league trying the new Spyro & Phelia package. The dog felt okay, nothing special and Spyro was nice at refilling as he should be.
