I'd change around the sideboard a bit, but was really giving players a time. Record was 5-1, *lost to scape shift by one turn round 2*, (RC invites to the top 2).

I don't remember having mana issues this league, but small sample size. We have a couple black sources to where it shouldn't be an issue though I'd think.

I've played dackfayden07s frogdomain list and itz very viable. Frog gives the deck an extra dimension it didn't have before (card draw and another flying threat).

Haha, had to mix things up on the channel! Just had some success at local Modern with this list, but there's definitely many ways to build it. I think white adds extra dimension depending on the meta and blue for Flame of Anor or frog bounce spell is really enticing. Gruul just seems the most streamlined I'd say.

Rhinos are definitely fun, but in terms of counters and removal, Zoo has a little bit more (only by a few haha)

I think leaning more into the Combo could be the play. Ghost Vacuum looks potentially sweet too with really high upside. Maybe as a fun of it could work as additional graveyard hate even though it doesn't draw a card.

I agree with the breaker of creation. It doesn’t look like much on paper but it’s a house. Basically unkillable with the hexproof from each color, usually gains 6-10 life, and hits hard with annihilator. Worth testing for sure!

I can agree with that. Rings would be my next choice most likely. Mycospawn are also pretty whatever, but you're right that Ring is more to help with that card draw while they're hopefully stumbling through our disruption.

I can get behind this logic. I think this specific version (Boros Black, rather than true Mardu) tries to remedy beating the unfair decks with heavy sideboarding. Bringing in all 14 cards against Storm was hilarious. I could see going down to 2 Rings like versions of Boros does as well even though Ring is indeed busted. I like some amount because hitting lands didn't feel too bad and we have enough cheap things to stall in the meantime if we have a Ring stuck in hand. That and it helps rebuild since everyone is running cheap boardwipes. (this all coming from one league and 0 experience haha) 😅

If I were to play Domain again, I would also ditch a number of those cards for either Bowmasters or some MH3 boros cards and see how that works out.

Yeah I can get behind this. This version is like "Boros Black" rather than straight Mardu with Thoughtseize and stuff so maybe this is a better all around option? You can run it at the next FNM!

Haha thank you! The Eldrazi content is definitely my favorite kind to make, but with this new account I wanted to branch out and try new decks. It helps in the long run so you know how they operate from the other point of view.

@@theosimonedavid404 There are lists that have tried that selection of cards I believe. I plan on doing a Bowmasters league today to see. And then maybe adding Frog at another point.

I agree! I was close to running a third plains, but didn’t anticipate so much struggle between Blood Moon and mana issues. Moving forward I think a third Plains is fine, especially in a deck running main deck moons 😅

Hey! Thank you for the kind words. I agree with your line too - I think for some reason I was thinking I wouldn't be able to react otherwise? Looking back, I kept passing for too long doing nothing which I think was awkward. At least they wouldn't have gotten Atraxa and I just have to deal with Frog 😅

Thank you! I think they’re both great decks so I’d say whichever you find more fun. But if I had to choose the most competitive, I would say TTB if the meta stays consistent since it’s generally favored vs the top decks.

That is a very cool card with high upside if it sticks around, but sadly Koliek’s Command is Scry and not Surveil.

@@MikeDeVo1 Yes! You scry and leave an Emrakul/Ulamog on top. Then you activate Yggdrasil's exile ability. Next turn you play it without needing a breach. Well, that's how I understand the card's function...jejej

Ah cool! I'm also on the Discord so I catch a few things here and there. I'm not the most fond of this list, but I found it interesting to say the least. There are a lot of flex spots so you can fill those in with mostly whatever and still run pretty well. I appreciate the insight!

Yup, Blue Tron. But I have this deck sleeved up right now since it recently won a big tournament.

I have two Tron friends who mainly play U Tron so they'll be happy about these comments haha

Sticking with Green eldrazi tron w/ maps for now. Was tempted to swap more into a tronless ramp style deck since that was my only loss at an RCQ and it wasn't close but unless I'm playing the mirror, I usually feel like I can't lose.
