    Does the rocker section between your feet bring down the pop of the board too much? Or do the carbon and camber sections sort of even it out

    • @boardoftheworldcom
      @boardoftheworldcom 19 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @aidanhackett7106 in my opinion it did more than even it out. It gave it a bit of an extra boost of around 1 or 2 points more pop than a standard traditional camber around the same mid flex. The carbon configuration in this board is its main highlight so it's easy to ride while still offering an extra boost.

    Would you recommend this to downsize the regular tweaker?

    • @boardoftheworldcom
      @boardoftheworldcom 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @arnolddejong9572 just making sure I follow the question. Do you mean because it's stiffer and more durable, is it safe to size down this version vs the regular? If that's what you meant, it probably would work one size down, just note the waist on this isn't any wider than the normal version.

    This for the spring break resort twin? East coast for everything

    • @boardoftheworldcom
      @boardoftheworldcom 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @JulianMoses-o7i I personally own the SB resort twin as part of my quiver. I'd say the non pro Jones Tweaker is more of the comparable board to the SB Resort Twin. If you'll be carving and jumping more than jibbing, go Tweaker Pro. If you'll be looking for a balanced board that can jib and jump while carving decently, go resort twin. Mainly the Tweaker Pro is noticeably stiffer and damper than the Resort Twin. If you won't be pressing much, I'd consider the Tweaker Pro. If you will, go Resort Twin.

    Not sure if you’ve rode an evil twin, but I’m wondering how similar they ride or if there is a noticeable difference. ET is true camber, but the 3BT gives it a bit of a camrocker feel

    • @boardoftheworldcom
      @boardoftheworldcom 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have! I actually came to the Resort Twin from the Bataleon Evil Twin Plus. Both are boards I owned for one full season. I had the Bataleon ET+ in 2023 and the Capita SB Resort Twin for 2024. They are similar in versatility,, and power, but differ in carving feel, jibbing performance, and overall speed. The Bataleon Evil Twin Plus is noticeably faster. The upgraded base alone is worth the $60 upgrade from the regular ET btw. Jibbing and buttering work well on both boards, but I think the ET+ is better in this category with the exception of nose and tailpresses. The tripple base tech just made trying to balance nosepresses on rails feel harder than it needed to be. Otherwise, it's the better jibber - the flex worked well for all sorts of sideways jib tricks like tailslides or boardslides (the flex hugs the rail making it easier to balance on the feature for most situations as long as you are not trying to balance on the arced shape of the nose itself). The Resort Twin is the better board for jumping - It's stiffer torsionally (toe to heel) than longitudinally (it's pressable more so long ways than toe to heel) due to carbon boosters in the tip. This offered some more of a traditional feeling pop and offered more landing stability, but made those sideways jib tricks feel like I really had to focus on balancing on rail features. In terms of carving, the ET+ was slightly damper, offering a smoother ride, but I felt less locked into turns. The Resort Twin was the more locked in carver for resort riding. Ultimately, I preferred the Capita Resort Twin and sold my ET+. They both rip and you can't make a wrong choice. I just got injured on my ET+ and sold it to try to get that bad luck out of my quiver. Good luck with board search and please check out my full reviews for both boards to read more about the specifics about what I thought of both: Resort Twin - www.boardoftheworld.com/capita-spring-break-resort-twin-review/ Evil Twin Plus - www.boardoftheworld.com/bataleon-evil-twin-plus-snowboard-review/

    What size board were you riding? whats your height, weight, and boot size? I'm trying to figure out which size to get, im thinking about getting the 148 because I want it more for carving and it will be more nimble that the 153; but I dont want it to get cranky and bucky in uneven snow by going too small. Im 6ft, 175-180 lbs, and size 10 boot. I know I out weigh the 148; but I like a smaller board.

    • @boardoftheworldcom
      @boardoftheworldcom 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I rode it in a 148, but I am only 5' 6" and 142lbs with a size 9 boot. I wanted it to be a bit wide because all of the other boards in my quiver aren't. The Service Dog has a soft feel to it. I'd consider meeting int the middle and getting the 153 it'll have the flex they intended for your weight range while still giving the volume shifted benefits of being a bit shorter for you.

In my reviews you'll start to see me switch between a white pair of 2023's and this blue pair of 2024's. Both are equally awesome in my opinion. Have you tried them yet? If not, do it! For me, the highlight is how comfortable they are. The bushing they sit on is like the sole of a running shoe. The ankle strap feels like a dream, and it was never too soft that I felt like I lacked something in my riding. Here is my full review of Ultras - www.boardoftheworld.com/union-ultra-bindings-review/ Oh you might be stoked to hear this -> I got to ride the 2025 upgraded Union Falcor bindings. Those will include the same running shoe-type bushing as the Union Ultra with a more responsive straps and highback. I loved them too, and I will be releasing my video for them as it gets closer to the September launch date. It's basically Union's new binding for someone wants the comfort of the Ultra in a more responsive, all mountain focused binding.

      Hell yeah, Martin! I haven't had the chance to ride the Aviator 2.0 out yet. They both have a similar construction with Koroyd built in. Jones puts both around a 7.
