Hello everyone, It has certainly been a while, I haven't managed to replace some of my camera gear yet so I can't record any new videos in the meantime, but I'll still try to get videos out with the limited resources I currently have. They got GM1's 567B prime mover to function. GML10's 710 prime mover and DBZ 2305's 645 prime mover sound epic. Same with AB1535's 645. Who knows? Maybe Watco Australia will donate DBZ 2305 to RHWA.
@@OfficialSEIC2K6 Unlikely as they already have Watco branding on the loco and there are plans to use them for an ILS contract to Bunbury.
How do you find out where GM 1 will be? I live in the Hunter and would love to see it.
@Warpedsmac RHWA would probably know, but it's most likely gonna remain confidential until the very late stages of its restoration.

It's good to see Rail Heritage get GM 1, I remember when Rail Heritage did the Heritage Train from East Perth to Kalgoorlie and GM 1 was also part of the Heritage Train it was a fantastic trip and time in Kalgoorlie was awesome

The waterfall rail accident one is interesting, as a person who catches the T4 Eastern Suburbs line. The Waterfall Rail accident could of the T set going to fast and it flipping over from a corner track.

you don't need diesel train aswell you will derail it
@cameronfane1 The grades on the Dwellingup branch are quite steep, W945 doesn't have the power to bring a full train up the hill from Isandra without the help of the two diesel locomotives. They maintain constant radio contact as to not apply too much power and derail.

@@watrainfilms8520 we had steam long before diesel engines we had them for convenience
@@cameronfane1 you'd need two steam engines to make the grades which is what HVR is working on at the moment.

enjoyed. my favourite part was 8:06, the l class. c class without the makeup. i used to think of it as death row but now we know they are only in long term hibernation. they may all end up getting resurrected eventually. excepting extreme circumstances, no c will ever get chopped up.

That, and extra help to get the train up the hill
to get it up the hill but the diesels have slow pick up. speed and in the cold its very hard to start

@bensbins Thanks mate, unfortunately the freight timetable was privatised early this year and moved to an arc infrastructure domain so it's very difficult to access. Only way to get the info would be to know someone with an account or who works in the Railways. Woodbridge is a great spot though and the signals usually tell you when a train is coming.

That was the 2019 Jumperkine collision. It occurred when Pacific National intermodal 7MP5 collided with the rear of 2K66 Watco grain. Yeah, I tend to go down south a bit anyway to see family who live down that way.
I advise you to add a V/Line N class which has once been crashed into by a runway train, and one particular locomotive, N475 has been crashed into trucks 3 times.
