i tried the Thundebolt Cable Version (with Thunderbolt 2) on iMac from 2017 and a Macbook M1. the Thunderbolt Icon turns yellow like yours but i cant switch Tabs from one screen to another. Any Ideas?

thunderbolt cable only works on pre-m1 chip intel supported macbooks and no extra software is needed. When you use duet, which connects only over the network with Mx chips, I cannot say that the connection is very efficient in this.

Hello, thank you for your video. I have a problem. I bought mv7+ and downloaded the motvi mix app. My problem is this: While speaking from the microphone, I want to hear my voice through the Macbook speaker at the same time, but it did not work. I went into the settings on the Macbook and selected the "audio input" section as mv7. I selected the "Audio output" section as macbook air speaker. But I still can't hear my own voice through the speaker. What setting should I use for this?

Awesome! I’ve been recording my audio separately in garage band and it adds an extra step. This is a great option to skip that part. I’m debating getting a separate mic for my camera or using my shure mv7. I’ll try this out and see what I come up with.

Hi everyone! Here in 2024 with a quick update to the above tutorial. If you tried following the video and are stuck, just follow all the steps up until 0:24. Instead of clicking "Interpret Footage", there is a new option now that says "Color". Click the "Color" option, then click "Override Media Color Space", and then in the drop down select "Rec. 2020". But great tutorial Andrew! Thanks for sharing, you're a life saver.

Hi! I've tried this a bunch of times, even the different tactics in the comments below but it still doesn't work. I'm trying to add it to a Kajabi landing page (part of a funnel) - does that matter? At first it gave me a little 'broken face' error, now it doesn't to anything to the page at all, other than add a blank space at the top of the page.

Can you help me, please? I connected my blue yeti with my iPad Air 5 and recorded the screen with audio using the USB port of the iPad. Now when the recording is over, and I am trying to play it back, the audio is not audible through the iPad. I have to disconnect the USB c wire from the iPad only then I can hear the audio. Is it possible to hear the audio without removing the USBC plug?

What alot of these mic tutorials don't tell you is either you have to have a nice room or have filters. These mics sound like ass straight from the box.
