Thank you for posting this beautiful hymn and reminding me of the words. I responded to God's love in 1955 and sang this hymn from the "Golden Bells" hymnal a number of times.

This hymn that I’m hearing for the first time is featured today, August 27, in Robert Morgan's inspiring book, A Song in My Heart, "366 devotions from our best-loved hymns”. This was so heartfelt and peaceful, thank you and God bless!

Every Sunday night whilst staying at my grans, we used to gather round the piano and sing this. The grown ups sang other songs and over time i learned them. I have always loved this song and memories. That was 70 yrs ago.
