Hi I’m 23 and I guess I got recommended this video for the same reason everyone else here did lmao. Anyone here who knows for sure they’re a lesbian but has dated mostly men? Does every lesbian feel this strong aversion to sex with men? What if I’ve enjoyed the feeling of sex and felt attracted to guys but mostly for their “feminine” qualities (ie long hair, not super buff, long eyelashes, pays close attention to self-grooming, clothing, wears jewelry, is the soft and sensitive, artistic type). My best analogy is I see being with a guy as getting a free brownie, and the prospect of being with a girl I find attractive like winning a fully paid trip to Polynesia or something like that.

I'm almost 50 and I just realized this today. It's not that I hadn't experimented in college--and after college. And never rmind that the first two people I fell in love with in elementary school were girls. I could go on. It was just an ordinary day in my loft downtown and it hit me so hard, right before I was thinking of my gay male friend (who's in love with me and who I love). We'd spent the whole night before talking, hours, about our future.

Times truly have changed. My mother who was married to my father for 50 years and had 3 children was always a bit "odd". Growing up I would notice this but as I got older I *really* started to notice something was different, my father was oblivious like most men. It was always the little things because being attracted to opposite sex(lesbian) was not acceptable at all and could have dire consequences. It was very hard to talk with her about it and it wasn't until the very end she finally told me. It was such a sad moment, a person who has gone through life, living in the "gray", terrified of revealing themselves. That is no way to live life. I'm so glad that it's different today, at least in "most" parts of the world. You can say what you want and be who you want to be.
