Hey Brian, idk if you remember me or not but we met this past Friday on the Williams river. We ended up doing really well on Saturday. I caught 15 trout between the Williams and cranberry. Anyways, I’ll be following all of your videos. God bless and remember to relax and enjoy the journey!

It has been over 40 years since I was at Holly River and you stirred a lot of memories...all good! Just got my order of Joe's flies yesterday that I use for smallmouth bass and perch.

Great video, and review of the Holly! It’s one of my favorite places to stay. Also, on the fishing side of things it is always alot better before the park opens on April 1st. I usually go before that, and there is never anyone on the river. It’s a very fun and easy place to walk around and fish.

Nice trout. I still use Joe Steffich's flies made in Nutter Fort, WV near Clarksburg where I grew up. I use his flies here in New Hampshire but the smallmouth bass like it better than the local trout. Thanks for sharing. 👌✌

Not true catching gold trout. Wv state record holder here!!!!!! It was caught on white trout worm!!!!! Not yellow or the color of the trout!!!! It was. Crystal clear water too!!!

I like that spot right there. I'd never really fished it much until last year. I could be mistaking, but I do believe that's the last hole they stock before the catch and release section starts.
