Just received my first order of Ebor figures. Extremely high quality.

Suggestion: if you would have mounted the five different miniatures on something, it would have made the comparison much better. I mount all my 28mm miniatures on 1 inch diameter x 1 inch high round dowel rods prior to priming/painting.

I'm doing the Great Northern War (1700-21) and Scania War (1675-79) using Wargames Factory/Warlord Games and Dixon Grand Alliance miniatures. Even though the Wargames Factory/Warlord Games lines have very limited poses, I've managed to get around that by doing conversions. I modified their two basic miniatures to make several pikemen poses and 5 different musketeer poses, I prefer the hard plastic miniatures for this reason. The Dixon Grand Alliance miniatures look great and match up nicely with the Wargames Factory/Warlord games miniatures.

I feel any gloss black should do.. maybe some black primer then some gloss black followed by the color shift

Did you build yourself a ladder for the legionaires to scale the tower with? Otherwise how would Sgt Markoff send the mutineers up there?

how hard would you say that it is to paint 10mm? I want to get into painting 10mm but I'm not sure about it. I usually paint 1/72 which is basically 20mm and I also paint 28mm

I built the Lindberg Lincoln Continental. It was a nightmare. Scales of some parts were wildly inaccurate. Gaps and poor fitting all over the place. Now I’m skittish about other Lindberg kits.

I buil this kit in the past. Just sand the lower body a little to even it. The actual car has panel seems too. The body comes out beautiful. The engine is shit, including the il-done blower. The worse is that the wheels are seriously underscaled. Try to fit the MPC 1928 Lincoln wheels. They are beautiful and rigth for the era.

Hey Vic, I don't know what part of Oregon you are in but we have a group in Medford area that plays Black Powder.

i bought both of those colors when they first came out. i have yet gotten to use them. i was thinking of spraying a black sealer base coat by auto borne. then spray either wicked colors pearl black or wicked colors wicked jet black. once i am done spraying that color then spray probably purple sunrise over it. i am doing a 2 color truck model build. the other color i am spraying is candy blue pearl. thoughts?

Modge podge seal would do the trick. You could even mix in some grey paint

Do you think this fort could fit 54mm (1/32) scale figures ? I know it’s like twice the size of a 28mm figure but would it look totally out of place or could it still be ok looking ?
