I will be in Hydra with my partner in July. Will follow your recommendations. Thanks for the great video. (Have subscribed!).
Wonderful video and explanation
Looks a little too dry and barren for my tastes.
Nice presentation!
Hydra seems to be a fantastic island. But this video? Boy, could it be more boring..😴🥱😴
Mona, get fucking lost, from my channel and video, okay?😊 thank you 🙏🏻
@@daniellugo5636 🥱🥱🥱
The beach at 6:56 is called Castello and not Kamini. Kamini is the little cute Harbour on the left
Well done and studied, more videos about Greece please
It's beautiful but lots of steps to get to hotels. 😮 Quiet and serene!❤
Good job on the video. I particularly liked that you covered everything from how to get to the island and how much it was to where to stay. Also, the information about how to get to beaches and the variety of restaurants was really helpful.
Hahaha there’s a much easier way to get to Hydra…from Ermioni on the PELOPPONESE…only a few minutes by ferry
So ironic to bring up authenticity in such a public forum. Why meddle and possibly make the place less authentic?
Wonderful adventure!
i think i need a girlfriend
Thanks dude
130 euros per day, crazy price
I loved ur presentation.. u did a good job . Going soon to Greece and Hydra.. thanks for the information
Nice video. We might go this next summer thanks to your recommendation. Cheers
Thank you for actually using non-irritating music!! Thank god. Also great eye, really beautiful footage :) can’t wait to go
How i wish the whole world was like this, no cars 😍 I always wish cars and vehicles never existed so no one says heeey cars are awesome for transportation and freedom p…although they cause more deaths than government wars.
thank you for a beautiful presentation of this magical island!
What a good video !!!
Modern Greece not ancient as you think son wrong thousands of years ago destroyed my country replaced by modern Greece by 18 century to exact far more developed to be ancient not by long shot look at it properly if that old wear should show age but buildings tell stories about there past by there look anyone can change facts by saying Greece is ancient but proper work can show other wise from Marcus in australia no like needed or like.
Glad you had good time it will not remain son Greek island's are set for being wrecked enjoy while you can.
Not the most authentic greek island wrong all island's are authentic son in front Greece more than 25 years son 80 percent Greece mountains MANY trees around Greece son I know my country better than you son so lecture son bad idea son you have no idea I don't care about what you think or son or your options period all Greece is beautiful stop bised bull shit much of what people and think about the world is wrong not right so much secrecy to keep so much truth away from good people sad from Marcus in australia no like needed or like.
"Never heard of it"? It's incredibly famous.
Also the correct pronunciation in modern Greek is eethra, not eedra.
gracias por compartir tu valiosa informacion. Hasta el proximo destino!
DO NOT USE THE DONKEYS. Horrible animal cruelty especially in HYDRA Island and SANTORINI Island. They make them stand under the hot sun all day long, without food and water. They make them carry the heaviest items. Multiple suitcases, washing machines, fridges anything you can imagine and ofcourse people up and down stieep cliffs. They BEAT THEM UP when they are too exhausted to move and when they can not perform as slaves anymore they kill them. They use them as machines and have no feelings for them whatsoever. Please complain when you visit these places YDRA, SPETSES, SANTORINI to put an END to this horrible slavery.
This video was absolutely fantastic! Thank you so much for sharing, Daniel. Great job!! I'm visiting Hydra in the beginning of May.
Very informative video. Thankyou.
Beautiful presentation and very informative. Thank you!
Well put together and very informative, thanks for sharing!!!
your video is so cool! i hope you enjoyed your time on Hydra island
I love Greece and I was a frequent visitor who always stayed at hotels in Greece, at least 60 days each year. But I will not visit Greece until the documents about Covid, and all the questions about vaccines and also all restrictions will be removed. See you in 1 year! Or 10 years? It's up to you, dear Greeks! The very best of the bests!!
So good Daniel especially for your first project. It could be the best coverage we’ve seen of Hydra. Thank you so much for sharing it with us. It brought back special memories. We spent about a week there and found it incredibly good. Laid back and friendly. We went in the off season in November. We felt we almost had it to ourselves. We didn’t go for the beaches so much. We have so many of them in Australia anyway, among the best in the world. We went for the history and the friendly Greek island feel. Greek people are so wonderful.
HELLENIC Island, and we HAVE heard of it, vre
I visited Hydra while traveling in Greece during college in the summer of 1977. We caught a ride on an old fishing ferry from Piraeus. There were no yachts in any of the harbors back then, just old fishing boats. No cars, lots of cats, and hardly any tourists other than us. Glad I saw things before they got gentrified and overrun with tourists. And all those super-yachts.
very good job!!!
Interesting, nicely edited & narrated. If I ever visit greece again this will be on my list. Thank you.
Thank you, Daniel. Incredible video quality and powerful motivation to visit all these places)
Cool! The best video I’ve ever seen about Stambul. A great amount of information about this city. Make a video about Japan next pls.
Our experience in Greece: Long story short: Spend 3 days in mainland & museums max. Spend the rest on the islands. For foodie people: Overall food culture in Greece is surprisingly mediocre if non-existent. Options are extremely limited (yes! you heard it right! we were shocked too, after reviewing over 100 restaurants from fine-dining to quick bites in mainland and islands) Anyone who has been to the neighboring Turkey/Istanbul/Antalya/Anatolia (literally food porn!) knows what we mean. (We actually took a food break, flew to Antalya/Turkey on a weekend to feast and came back!) While in Greece, basically eat souvlaki/gyro on stale pitas and soggy fries with Greek salad till you drop. (same food shown in this video!) Reheated bland mousakkas. (Soups/legumes/tea/oven-to-table bread/types of olives, beers, spices etc. habits are next to none) attendants are rude, people hardly smile. In Greeks mindset, good food translates fancy rip-off! Greece is so not a foodie country by a world class standard. Athens has a just a few 5 star hotels: Grande Bretagne: Go for breakfast on a deck looking at Acropolis. Coffees are mediocre (Jacobs!), koulouris are stale, very limited options. Other 5 star hotel is Hilton, bland, ugly with no character. Balcony view is ugly looking at dusty apartments. Fashionable well-maintained yet frowning ladies all over the city, Piraeus port is like a war zone wreckage scene from Syria, Athens is an ugly graffiti capital and nobody seems to care. ISLANDS: That's where the charm starts!. Real gems, turquoise sea with super romantic ambiance, but again food is bland and next to garbage with a few exceptions (ex. Techne in Hydra, but again limited options). WINE: go white. Reds are not a big deal. TAVERNAS: same bland menu served everywhere (seriously, go to any Meyhane (Turkish tavernas) of your choice in neighboring Turkey instead) live music is great but Bouzouki over and over. Not much variety (like food). No sugar-free ouzos (In Turkey calories counters can find sugar-free raki). Greek islands ara absolutely amazing, especially if you have your personal chef with you. Cheers
OK i get you prefer Turkey to Greece. Germany is a great country but its not a foodie country (saurkraut and sausages etc) compared to France. So I can accept Turkey is more sophisticated but I much prefer Greece for many reasons.
Love the commentary and the lovely scenes of the island. I can't wait to go there myself!
Beautifully done, Daniel. We visited Hydra two years ago and we're already planning a return (longer stay) trip for next June. We absolutely love this place!! It is one of those rare, enchanting places that still exist on this planet.
Thank you, Daniel! Great tour! Just planned to visit Istanbul.
Thank you 🙏🏻
improve your english !
Which travel agency do I use to visit this beautiful island⁉️I would fly from Germany/ Düsseldorf airport. How late in the year can one fly to Hydra and enjoy a warmth holiday. Thank you🙏
I believe you don’t need any travel agency for this. You can book an apartments with the air bnb or booking.com, simply buy tickets to the Athens airport and there you go. These and other details are described in the video. I think September, or early October would still be pretty warm, but I’m not sure about swimming.
Wow This was incredible. And you were so right I haven't heard of Hydra. This is now on my list to visit.
WOW..... This gave me goosebumps!!! Stunning!!! Thank you for this beautiful video!
Perhaps the best Hydra travel video out there !! Well done capturing all these great shots !
Thanks I did my best 🙏🏻
Finally I find it! Thanks man :)
What a great video! This was the first I've heard of Hydra but I'm so excited to head there one day. Glad you enjoyed your visit.
