    How works???

    • @brettporta2332
      @brettporta2332 10 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Low pressure water expands the big piston upwards (tyre) which pushes a small piston which creates high pressure, very simple.

      It’s great if you just leave it running and don’t need more than 3 ltrs a minute. Tbf you could water a lot of plants and save a lot of time on maintenance by using this pump but then if you need more then there is other options. I personally think it’s great as it would allow me irrigate my veggies without me needing to do all that work and without worrying about whether the electricity from solar or wind is actually working. This thing looks like it takes very little maintenance and effort to do a job that requires a lot of labour by hand watering.

      it appears that the top chamber ( pump) is completely isolated from bottom chamber . the tire is the bottom chamber. (lifting vessel) the top chamber is a simple in and out pipe with check valves and the lower unit uses low pressure to lift and when the pressure is high enough to break tire bead seal , the upper unit can fall with the weight of the pump forcing water out exit to resivior. super simple and genious. i love the man that came up with this. it out performs a rotary electric pump and will last generations.

    (Inventor) This shows just one of the many advantages the Bunyip Pump principle has over the "Hydraulic Ram". When the float valve shuts the Bunyip simply stalls &waits for the tank to get thirsty then it will automatically start. More importantly if the stream creek river flow drops the Bunyip will automatially cycle slower to the point of stopping when there is no flow then restarting when flow resumes. There are many other advantages due to the Bunyip not operating on the water hammer princple.

  • @revimfadli4666
    @revimfadli4666 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    How does it work? How is it differet from other ram pumps? What role does the tire play?

    • @brettporta2332
      @brettporta2332 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      A Bunyip pump has a piston, the ram doesn't have one. The tyre is like a big piston, water flow into the bottom of the tyre which inflates the tyre which interns pushes a smaller piston, (which is constantly cycling) which then pushes water out up your delivery line to your tank.
