I just bought one myself, although I paid 40 bucks shipped for it but I think it was totally worth it. Easily beats any modern cherry switch or one of their many clones these days. I do love my Model M as well but I think for both gaming and typing combined this is the one that I'll be using for a long time. Jerry rigged a PS/2 cable for the time being as I don't have a DIN to PS/2 adapter but thankfully the wire on the keyboard end is on a simple pin header so I can put the original coiled wire back once I get an adapter for it without doing anything inrreversible. Gotta get used to the couple oddities especially when using my usual Nordic layout, the button between left ctrl and alt is the button that would usually be next to a shorter left shift and there is one key missing between the letter L and the enter key which means that for the ' icon I have to press the key between right alt and right ctrl. And it seems like the repeat when holding down keys is slower than usual even when the speed is maxed out in windows, not sure what's up with that but it's fine

Primary mistake: Not playing to the strengths of your build. There is no reason to insist on kicking when your primary melee/punish is a ranged blade wave to begin with.

Yeeaah second match you were playing more to your build's strengths than the first one. Also avoided mistakes you committed in the first one, like not dodging the Coral Oscillator vertically.

What glitch? I don't see anything weird here. You can clearly see there are huge gaps between the spikes. They don't walk ON the spikes, they walk around them. I find it very realistic.

White Alps are wonderful! Some of the best clicky switches ever made!! And that is quite a treasure you managed to find there for such an incredibly low price (and in beautiful condition)!!! It isn’t too hard to find a DIN-to-USB adapter that would allow you to use this board in a modern computer (you might find it even on Amazon). The toggle switch on the bottom probably switches between AT, XT and Sun (Microsystems) mode, but for a modern PC you can just use it in the XT mode.

Yeah, these types of keyboards are well sought-out after by a small but dedicated subsection of mechanical keyboard enthusiasts because of the attributes of Alps switches you pointed out - their sound is lower-pitched which tends to be better liked, and their mechanical design causes a much more defined tactile bump compared to the common Cherry MX switch, but production of the switches did not survive to the modern day, though there are niche companies like Matias who are dedicated to producing their own Alps-style switches today, as well as a handful of clones made by obscure companies and even a few hobbyists or so attempting faithful Alps reproductions.
