the goat
As for a C64 tracker, definitely is.
I enjoyed that.
I'm glad to hear that. Welcome to 1990.
Great
I appreciate that. Also, thanks for the Castlevania cover!
coool!
This is a fantastic copy of a 1966 model Strat. I believe Tokai only made this in '81 then stopped which is a shame as the "bullet truss-rod" models are a bit naff!.
My friend who owns it would say that this one surpasses the '66 in most aspects. To be honest, I'm not nearly as familiar with instrument history as he or you so thanks for the info! It is not probable that I'll ever own a Tokai Strat (Apart from the limited run Squier/Fender '51 this guitar design don't really fit me) but I'll pass the info about post'81 bullet-rod models to friends who love these.
@NecroPolo I'm not sure about it being better than an original, without a doubt the pick ups on the Tokai wouldn't be as good as a 60's Fender but they are quality built instruments. I love the big '65-71 style head stock being a Hendrix fan boy!. Haha Peace.
Cool
Jim Hall első lemeze, a Jazz Guitar, aranyat ér!
Why are there such low views, this is a bop. Makes my brain feel funky
I'm glad that you like it. I don't pay to TH-cam and they don't promote my videos. It is what it is :D At least all the numbers are organic. For sure it is not rec breaking but at least I can be sure that those are real folks on the other side of the "line". Besides this platforn allows me to build quite a catalog of music creations, even back 30+ years. I appreciate what it is and don't worry too much about what it's not :)
HR 0 = completely off?
I like to turn it off in case of certain instruments. Things that need a quick attack / bite basically.
Good tune!
Thanks in the name of a teen in 1990.
So Necropolo, Why do you Play for Wackor
"Why" is a good question :D
@@NecroPolo Yeah
This is familiar :)
You know the programmer :)
Kiváló track!!
Örülök ha tetszik. 1990, hát nem most volt.
And you know what else, You should be the guy who makes the Music for Monster Truck Destruction And Monster Truck Destruction 2, www.youtube.com/@oddgamesdevelopment so maybe tell them about it
In the practice it is very hard to snatch a music composer position in a big studio game project. In my experience the same is true for game industry assignments there. As far as I can see it is a rather closed ring. People want to work 90% of time of whom they already worked with or is recommended from inside the industry. Despite that I've had game music / sound projects I'm still an outsider as I've never been a full-time employee in a big game dev company. I kept on sending resumes / samples as a freelancer for years with no success of landing a deal so I don't do it anymore. Still I'm not complaining as for the moment I'm working on two indy game projects. There is always something to do.
@@NecroPolo Oh Ok
You know something NecroPolo, I like Lizards, So maybe ad a Lizard on your album
Lizards are great still I'm sort of scared of them, especially the big ones. Fortunately around my place everyone is small. In the garden there are a lot of tree frogs and tiny very quick lizards.
@@NecroPolo I am not afraid oh them, I like them
Do you Scream A lot
Only onstage. I'm an introvert :)
@@NecroPolo Why
It's a cool game
So what's a Pedealboard
A bunch of guitar pedals attached to a plank basically. It makes stage setup quicker. Instead of a pre-made board I use a doormats since ages.
@@NecroPolo Oh I see
@@NecroPolo NecroPolo Have you ever heard of this game Monster Truck Destruction th-cam.com/video/Sqs840sf1mI/w-d-xo.html
@@NecroPolo so that's a pedal board
NecroPolo, I got an idea before You Start Singing, Instead Of going me me me me me me me, Maybe you should do this th-cam.com/video/rl-Ity5Txh4/w-d-xo.html And This th-cam.com/video/OvAJrtrITls/w-d-xo.html It's for you to warm up your voice for when your getting ready to sing, Maybe you should do that by doing some Wackor Karaoke how about that
SID Wizard "Emu"?
Yep, it doesn't require a C64 to run and it sounds rather accurate. This is the latest version. I use it on W10 / PC: csdb.dk/release/?id=221555
Great demo, thanks
You're welcome. It is quite a decent no-nonsense analogue amp sim that will never freeze in the middle of a gig as such.
Üdv! Bocs, hogy idepiszkolok...de keresek egy megademo(?)-t, amihez te ítál zenét, legalábbis a "flip disk" részben, ahol egy koponya forgott. Arra emlékszem, hogy félig digi volt. Pls! :) Köszi!
Üdv! Noprob, itt előbb elérsz mint facebookon (y) Ezzel a kérdéssel most megfogtál. Digit sosem használtam, minden SID-em "fapados", legfeljebb multispeed. A másik kérdés a megademo. Tudomásom szerint két hosszabb demo volt amihez zenét csináltam, az egyik a "Ninfa" a Level64-től, a másik az "I adore my 64=" a Lethargy csapattól.
So That is a great Guitar so is your Guitar Ibanez
Loving this one. I use this and a Warmoth LPS parts guitar in Wackor, also bloody amazing. The albums were recorded with the Warmoth. I use the Ibanez during live performances along with the Warmoth since 2018. The Ibanez is the main axe during NecroPolo live acts.
@@NecroPolo Oh nice
che bomba di remix
Grazie (y)
So who was your drummer part of Wackor
We have the same line-up since the start (1996): Csaba "Slayer" Scheier: drums+vocals, Gábor "Küki" Kükedi: bass. Damn, it's nearly 30 years :O
@@NecroPolo oh ok, so when will you do the review on 4x4 Jam and Project Torque
@@BloomWCLightningMcQueenChevy95 It's a good question. Summer is problematic for me as we're on tour and I work in the studio when I'm not on the road so everything appearing on my channel during the summer is a pre-scheduled video, except for what-in-the-hell series that is an actual channel / project update. Some videos were produced more than 1 year ago. There will be a couple of free days in the calendar but I also try to finish the 4th NecroPolo album titled NecroLepsy before the end of 2024 that has a priority. Anyway talking about game music projects is a great suggestion, there are some good stories going back even to 1992 or so.
@@NecroPolo Ok Necropolo so when will you ever have an interview
@@BloomWCLightningMcQueenChevy95There was last year or so. The first section is in Hungarian but there is an English translation after that. opiumbarlang.blog.hu/2023/02/20/interju_nagy-miklos_peterrel_interview_with_peter_nagy-miklos_wackor_necropolo_rd_g
And it will be the same music from 4x4 Jam and Project Torque ok can you tell them that
Different band, ages ago. Nice memories. I actually played PT back in 2008 or so.
@@NecroPolo Cool, so did you do the review yet
@@BloomWCLightningMcQueenChevy95 No, it will take some time. We're on summer tour with Diabolus and there are other things going on for me. Videos are approx. 4 months pre-scheduled on this channel.
@@NecroPolo Ok, Comment on this comment when you do
@@BloomWCLightningMcQueenChevy95 Okay I'll shoot a note here then.
❤
Aren’t you from The Band Wackor?
Yep, I am. I play the guitar in these projects, (order of activity): Diabolus in Musica, Ørdøg, Wackor, Sidrip Alliance and RKH (on hiatus since 2012). I play bass in Graphite 3.6+ and play everything in this one, NecroPolo. Actually I create music most often in the later so maybe it should be in the front of the list :D
@@NecroPolo Really your from Czech Republic
@@NecroPolo Have you heard of This Game 4x4 Jam, your bands songs we're in that game

That's the thing we discussed with my girlfriend during the music compo last weekend when this tune became released. You don't have to explain Douglas Adams in the demoscene :)
😮
❤
This is the pedal Dimebag recorded the floods outro solo on 😢
Surely, and probably other bits'n'pieces on the album here and there. In an interview he said he liked the feeling of certain demo tracks better than the rig tracks that was assembled for the album so in many cases they just put the demo tracks into the mix. As for me, despite being a Pantera fan around the time when I got it and it was '95, it is a complete coincidence that I got this pedal. There was a band competition and it was a prize that we had for place #3 among other stuff that gone, long ago. I kept this one. During the last 30 years this little pedal was my main guitar pre/drive unit for solos and many times rhythm and it's still going strong. Amazing piece of gear with its own character. It's a pity that KORG doesn't make something like this anymore.
Ah, I see there is somebody else with similar ideas like I have... still rock-guitar, but sounding completely different - here is my guitar-version: th-cam.com/video/Fg5wXSUTioM/w-d-xo.html Yours does have more natural guitar-touch, i like it very much. Mine is a little more attached to the auto-wah sound 🙂
I"'m glad that you like this rendition. Auto-wah actually makes sense as it can emulate synth sounds quite well. It's amazing how JMJ's music resonate in different genres and different generations.
❤
Love these insane sounds!
I'm glad that you like it. I appreciate the feedback. C64 was always a sort of magic box of infinite soundscapes to me. Full of chaos. You change a couple of values, maybe accidentally, two channels start to lock/sync together and an ample of unpredictable things happen that you can surf on while creating a tune. To this date, it is an unmatched music creating experience to me.
You Sold?
Wasn't mine. I recorded guitars for a friend, that's when this video was shot. I think he still has this strat but it's not for sale.
my like dosent count....
Your comment counts more than any likes. Likes just all about numbers and statistics. Not important. Words matter that indicate that the content reached real people and not some bot trying to force feed advertising some product I never needed. Thanks for your comment. I really appreciate that.
@@NecroPolo Like :)
@@xoop3579 I appreciate :)
All response to your string vibration is essentially created by your pickup including frequency response and amplitude. Pickups matter but I am no authority so I don’t know by how much it matters.
Absolutely, as I've mentioned they make quite a difference considering clarity, response, sensitivity, dynamics (lack of) feedback and so on. When it comes to actual "tone" or EQ in high gain use, the difference is there but it is not as drastic as most people would think. Still, I can understand that, for example, Lewis Hamilton can immediately feel a difference between soft slicks and medium slicks while 99% of drivers can't. I know a girl from Iceland who can distinct more versions of white than me of normal colors through all the observable spectrum :D The problem is, folks are, not guitar Lewis Hamiltons. They absolutely belong to the 99% but act as if they belonged to the 1% and they base their opinions on that :D
Good video and good info, but I ain't gonna lie- the only reason I clicked was because of your c64 profile pic.
Sure, my channel is a mixed bag. I guess it's 40% about C64, 30% about displaying other music tracks of mine and instrumental playthroughs and 30% is about guitar and audio / music production gear.
Gear snobs and brand whores care about a name on a headstock or amp grill.

Zri mansagó I played for the last time my Harley Benton, and is still kinda in tune
Long ago there was a time when the majority of HB products were around the junk side of things. A big jump into today and I must admit that all HB products I met during the last couple of years are completely fine and represent a stunning price / value ratio. I'm especially impressed of their cabs these days.
Cool
I'm glad that you like it.
Get a schecter demon they are amazing guitar's. 449$ and super quality.
They are up there for quite a while, even apart from their C1 line. I had a recording session 10 years ago where some old modded entry elvel Scheckter with a little strange proportions, what was it called 007 perhaps? It was the best sounding guitar of the guitarist guy, outperforming all the others. Also a friend of mine called Brigi (ab)used a Tempest for half a decade onstage and in the studio in a mainstream girl metal band called Dorothy in my country, she loved it. Also my old friend Attila who became the prime Pantera riff guy on YT has been using them for ages, As far as I know he loves the E line and definitely had the Jeff Loomis signature guitar as his main onstage axe for years. Scheckters have always been extreme good value for the money.
I have a Squier mini P bass and I love it. Was $189. lol.
A mini? That's a serious secret weapon. I have a friend who ended up playing in a top-league band in my country. He uses some fine stuff for that project like Spector but one of his most fav secret axes has always been a Squier mini, I guess like yours. A couple of times I played his bass. It's fun all the way, does the job unless you go droptuning and is much easier for the hands than a normal size bass.
