Actually from 2A7V version Leopard2 has competent electronics as that of other 3.5th gen MBTs such as Black Panther. However the main problem is not the tank itself. It is that Germany's current military production capacity is insufficient to meet the demand for its own military reinforcements, making it difficult to export large quantities to neighboring countries.

잘못 아는 사항을 설명하자면. K2의 주포는 한국산이다. 나토규격의 포탄을 쏠수 있게 한국이 독자 개발했다. K2는 처음 생산했을때 독일제 엔진과 독일제 변속기를 사용했다. 하지만, 최신 K2는 한국제 엔진과 한국제 변속기를 사용한다. 한국은 엔진과 변속기를 자체 개발했다. 독일이 엔진과 변속기를 가지고 한국의 전차수출을 막았기 때문이다. 한국제 APFSDS는 텅스텐을 사용한 것중 최고의 관통력을 가진게 맞다. 한국이 기술개발과정에서 우연히 얻은 기술로 만들어진 것이다. 이 텅스텐탄은 가격이 싸지는 않다. 미국의 열화우라늄탄같은 철갑탄을 개발하려는 계획하에 만들어진 것이다. 일반적인 APFSDS와는 다르다. 한국제 APFSDS는 관통할때 열화우라늄탄처럼 스스로 날카로워진다.
