DO NOT BUY THIS! It only took me 15 minutes to ask for a return shippong label. It doesnt feel good in the hand, the string slaps your wrist VERY hard and makes you not want to shoot it. Oh and the app sucks! It doesnt even register shots. Complete waste of money!

If you’re only getting 230 then you must have not opened your valve mine easily gets 20 joules.
I have looked at hours and hours and days and days of reviews, upgrades, hop ups, tear downs, kinetic and pepper balls, vxr rounds, .43 .50 and .68 caliber so on and so forth. This is the one i am purchasing tomorrow. The yellow one as to not upset the folks at church ( we carry.... others) but thats a last resort. Dollar for dollar cant really beat it. I almost bought the byrna LE for the one handed use, but you could hit it against your leg if your other hand is tied up. Thank you for your review. I will be using all OC/tear gas rounds, i would not rely on kinetic myself.

Wow. I did exactly the same thing as you and made the same choice. I just bought the S2. but it hasn't arrived yet. I think I'm going to do a combo of kinetic and OC/Tear gas. It's a shame that we have to be armed in church. This was one of the most informative S2 videos I've seen.

Nice budget crossbow ive shot one for about 5 yrs both my nephews have em as well one for 12 yrs i believe good company with good customer service killed a nice 8 pt opening day the yr i got mine

I've seen lots of chrony on salt supply s2 with ppl using 3.7 gram nylon, 330 340 fps 20 joules on first shots then buy 5th shot it starts going to upper 200 fps outta box, if this is only 230 with 3.7g starting that's only like 9 joules, unless they had them 8 to 10 gram aluminum steel then I can see 230fps or lower, which is still around 15 to 20 joules!

@@carlsaljr ur welcome, yea they should not be putting metal balls in the s2, I hear it jams, metals are only for the revolver types, only nylon rubber or pepper for this launcher, I will continue to watch and learn.
someone must have bogus co2s - with a 3.7 g I have gotten 343fps = 20 joules first shot and 331 fps = 18 joules for the 5 th shot. S2's are awesome as far as minimal FPS loss and max velocity per shot

I bought this one and love it. I use it more than my Hercules impact, I have better control of this one. Sometimes the Hercules is too powerful.lol.
Now that is on sale for 30 bucks. I bought the Bauer one hand recip saw so I don't need this one. It's not the best, I watched a couple videos on this one and it burned out, but to be fair those guys were beating the hell out of it.lmao ! But for 30 bucks it's a good deal for a guy who is not trying to cut a car in half.

Just thought I would mention that a fully charged Bauer 20v 5ah battery will read at 20.9 volts. I keep seeing people asking what the voltage is when fully charged.

Replaceable filters available? Are attachments 1 1/4 inch.
I have not found any replacement filters, also I am not sure of the size of the attachments. Although you can get replacement parts here: manuals.harborfreight.com/manuals/parts/P64148.pdf
@@carlsaljr Shop Vac doesnt sell replacement filters for their handheld vacs. Bad move on their part. I returned mine unused.

@carlsaljr It's too bad. It looks like a really nice vac. They need to care more about their clients. I have owned the other shop vacs for years. When I moved into a small apt, I gave a friend two of them I had no space for. He already owned some of them himself.

I’m a convicted felon and I use this as a home defense weapon. You’re right about the 12 gram adapter having a defect and having a tendency to not pierce both capsules. There’s a trick for making sure that it does. But more importantly than that,.. This adapter adds a feature to the gun that is much more important than the more obvious purpose… It puts your screw-down in the open, past the shroud… It makes it a much more ready weapon. Put your capsules in and then twist that thing all the way down to resistance. Now,.. if you need to grab it in a panic, it’s a twist away from it being aim-ready. If you don’t have this adapter, now you’re screwing around with the shroud and twisting bottles, etc.. Even a partial pierce is 3 ready shots.. That’s all that I expect to need in a home invasion/melee. I get the 88gram bottles too for the back yard when I plan to take a whole bunch of shots for practicing. But after that, the 12gram adapter lives on it with a nasty bladed broadhead arrow loaded. It’s one lethal shot and the the SOG Fasthawk melee..

No my friend, the reviews were better for the brushed version! So that is why I decided to go with the original.
I bought one in 2019 and TWICE THE LIMBS DELAMINATED, SO NOW I HAVE A 3RD SET , BE CAREFUL , SINCE I PAID $230 FOR IT CAN'T REALLY SELL IT FOR MUCH!! I DID SHOOT 3 DEER WITH IT SO AGAIN BE CAREFUL!!! GOOD HUNTING!!

I had problems with the blade coming loose all the time I like the Hercules 7 1/4 much better
To be honest I wouldn't recommend the 6-1/2, it is also extremely week. It is good for light duty, very light. :)
Are you gonna buy a 12 ah battery? I think they're like $120 bucks or something like that and they just came out but they're not even on the HF website YET!
I see some articles and threads about this, Thank You for bringing this to my attention! To be honest I have 2-1.5 AH, 1-3 AH, 5-5 AH and 1-8 AH I have like 14 tools of the cordless collection. So probably not at this time, but if one or more stop taking charge I most likely would go with this option next!

with a 5ah battery it's a good 2.5x a full laptop charge or so so if you have nothing else or don't want to buy dedicated battery banks and are deep into the bauer battery system... why not? I'd grab one if it was 29.99
