How to shave a 1 month beard in minutes with a Straight Razor
มุมมอง 7K9 ปีที่แล้ว
Here's a one month beard being removed in minutes with a straight razor. It's pretty rare that I have that much hair on my face so I thought I'd make a video. The music is a song called I'm Goin' to Memphis by Paul Burch. The guy has tons of great music.

Car runs red light and hits another car. The car that caused the accident flipped onto it's side and caught on fire. when we pulled the guy out he was drunk. Turns out the car was stolen about ten minutes prior to the wreck. I'm told the driver of the other vehicle had only minor injuries.
how to shave with a Parker SR1 Shavette straight razor
มุมมอง 555K10 ปีที่แล้ว
In this video I go over the basics of shaving with a Parker SR1 shavette. The SR1 is a pretty basic and inexpensive tool that's great for someone that's just getting into straight razor shaving. It's easy to load and can use double edge razor blades. When you're learning you should focus more on comfort then closeness. The shaves will get closer as your technique improves. Feel free to ask any ...
Parker 99R Double Edge Safety Razor Review
มุมมอง 48K10 ปีที่แล้ว
This is a review of the Parker 99R double edge safety razor. I found the 99r to be a great razor at a great price. In the past I've seen mixed reviews about Parker safety razors, but they've really stepped it up in the last few years and are consistently producing quality shaving gear. This solid brass razor has a nice bright chrome finish. It's on the heavier side at 3.4 oz. and it's about 4.5...
Thank you sir. Your video helped me a lot. Thanks to youtube as well.
I don’t like my beard.
How do you know which side of the half blade you're supposed to put? Do the numbers (1,2,3,4) that are written of each side mean anything?
Stright razor isn't shivette?
the most valuable lesson I took from this video was that your first shaves with a shavette/straight razor is not going to be the closest one, it won't look the best and that's fine, you should not make pressure, take your time and understand that with practice you will improve, I used my wife cheap shavette and enjoyed it so much I bought a parker srx for myself, great video!!
You do get your very best shave with a double edge razor. I also like the injector razor to however it's hard now to find injector razor blades, those to were the very best razors. Wish they still made them and the injector razor blade replacements. They definitely were the very best.
How come you do not cut yourself? I have shaved with shavette like 20 times and still end up bleeding :( .
Is that easy for “balls” ?
This video just turned 9 years old!
Nice shaving, if I may suggest I would not wear a hat indoors less to shave, just for a good gentleman style
Fantastic instructional!
How did you get such good lather?
This is really the only video you need to mastering the shavette. It’s the best shavette how-to on YT. Great video, sir!
Gracias compadre. Muy bueno tu video.
She's
I didnt know you could just break the blade like that 😂 i have Astra blades so ill try it
Safety, straight, and shavette razor shaving are for "manly" men.
As a bearded lady, thank you for this.
Its also pennies on the dollar in saving compared to buying Gillette or whatever razor refills
So easy to cut ourself its scary in a way
Why would anyone wear a Golf Cap while shaving 😮
My dad wasnt there to change my underwear or take me to the fair. Thanks for showing me how to shave
Daddy wasn't there!
I shaved first time with a shavette today, No cut,😎. Not lying.
Yeah... I'm not brave enough for this lol 😅
OK, This is really nothing. I'm writing about a REAL straight razor, not a straight razor whare you put in a razor blade here.
My Father only liked a straight razor shave. He didn't like any other razors except straight razors. He kept them extremely sharp, honed well with a razor strap. Gotta be careful when you use these things, they are a mean cut if you nick yourself with them. Gotta have a steady hand to when you use these things to.
Fantastic advice! Thank you.
This video honestly helped me a lot. Cheers sir.
Is there any reason to wear a hat in the bathroom and even while shaving?
When I first used one of these I looked like I'd been butchered but for some weird reason it didn't put me off I must be weird now I don't cut myself or.look like a murder victim
Just tried this razor. I am impressed with the blades. so far these are the best shavette blades I have tried. very smooth. I might also add I am new to straight razor shaving. so I did cut myself or nick myself lightly. I was holding the razor very gently . while making my pass short strokes. didnt remove all of the hair. but I am kind of nervous to do the 2nd pass at the different angle. so I used my safety razor after that I am still learning the tactile feel and motions. for this type of shaving
My face is a fountain of blood rn. And I'll be doing it again soon
Thanks🥰🥰🥰
I really enjoy VINTAGE GILLETTE SAFETY RAZORS AS WELL! 💈😁🤙🏻💈
Nice
I wish someone told me about the angle thing.. I slashed my cheek so freaking much my first time 😂😂
Thanks from over the pond in northern Ireland.
Thumbs up. Worked first try!!
This Friday I will be using the first time the black widow Shavette razor and I use the Astro blades with twig leaf razor which I will be using that this Friday let’s see how that goes well any other recommendations will be helpful and the video was helpful.
Quality razor. Build quality is up there with Merkur razors!

I hate those shavettes with that cheap loading mechanism.
Is a great shavette. Parker Is good 💯. The brushes ❤️💈 Nice video!
If it's me then the face will be full of blood drops
Nicely done ! Thanks
Nice!
I fear the feel when i have a smooth glide and the blade suddenly stops and yanks. Then it starts bleeding quick. How prone are you to scar yourself permanently like this?
Cool! You really do know how to handle straight razors. Great job!
Hat? In the bathroom?
You have nice hands
