Unless you are an elite athlete, the purpose of your workout programme should be to FEEL MORE YOUTHFUL - that's it. Believe it or not, elites athletes are often prepared to jeopardise their long-term health to succeed, so the common health & fitness culture of training like an athlete is a fools errand. Feeling youthful can be defined has being mobile, strong, and having excess energy all attainable for all ages without stepping foot in the gym. l am Coach JC, and my mission is to get adults to reclaim their childhood love of movement.

มุมมอง 813 หลายเดือนก่อน
www.patreon.com/bsandm Believe it or not, elite athletes prioritize winning over their overall health and well-being. Although, their performances are impressive and entertaining feats, you have to be a little bit on the crazy side to commit to this lifestyle. Unfortunately, this is seldom advised by coaches, where most children who love sport no longer participate for recreational purposes, bu...

What’s the name of these drills ?
Wow..that’s an unexpected one! I recently stopped KB swings because I developed golfer’s elbow, which is still lingering. No more swings or snatches for me :(
Lol, the exercises we avoid the most eventually expose themselves visually. Start with split Normal squats.
I was so hoping you wouldn’t mention that dreaded Bulgarian Split Squat. Oh how I hate that exercise lol
Thank you so much for sharing this video to learning about childhood mathod🎉

"...the kettlebell is very expensive..." Compared to what? You only need one or two to begin and there are many exercises you can do without going anywhere. No gym fees. No travel expense. No travel time. No standing in line for access to some piece of equipment. If you exercise at home, your kettlebells take up one square foot each. Barbells? Be prepared to pay for benches ($), racks ($), floor protection ($). You lose the use of one room in your house, or half of your garage. Then there is that pile of plates. Often you might need a spotter. Oh, then there's that annoying plate change between every exercise. Lastly, barbells offer a limited array of movements (I counted 5). The motto is, "We don't do kettlebells to get good at kettlebells. We do kettlebells to get good at everything else." I'm 83 years old. I don't/can't run anymore, and I walk very little. I can swing a kettlebell and get a good cardio workout while suffering no joint trauma, and while preserving a certain level of muscle mass. If I fall, I fall straight down onto the carpet. No forward momentum to make me land in a heap with broken bones and abrasions. If I did a dead lift at home with a barbell, where would I do it? A kb dead lift poses no problem. Is there room to stand somewhere? I'll do it there! 😁😆
Good. I am 68 years old and use kettlebells since 4.23 in my workingroom.❤
Thanks for sharing your experience. I love Kettlebells more than any other modality too. They are way better for functional strength than dumbbells or barbells, so keep up the good work.
