NEW COMMENT I'VE REWATCHED THE VIDEO AND HERE I'LL BE GIVING OFF SOME SUGGESTIONS AND CRITICISM Step 1 0:22 while there are few mistakes I've seen here, one you could do to the Onion, instead of peeling it right away 0:36 what you would do is you actually need to keep the skin on for a second. Grab a knife slice it in the middle. You might struggle a little bit but it's part of the process, once you sliced them in half which then you can now peel the skin without wasting alot of time. Also, I've noticed you've chosen the Cleaver instead of a Chef Knife. (Although I understand there is not much knifes in the video I saw but still hear me out) a Cleaver knife's purpose is to cut tough meats only, yes you can use any knife but... a knife like a cleaver that dicing, the cleaver is a bit heavy so you have to chopped slowly Step 2 2:23 Okay, I see you putting the onions in the ground beef now but the fastest process of putting all the onions in the bowl is scooping them with your knife and I see in 2:27 you adding Eggs, Baking Powder, Mushroom and... Cornstarch? While the baking powder and cornstarch were okay but adding eggs to your ground beef, you're basically not making patties anymore instead you are basically making some kind of Salisbury steak or a meatball in this case now... if you like onion & mushroom flavors in your burger, then just keep it the way it is, no need to add Eggs baking powder and cornstarch... 2:42 I've noticed because you've knead the burger two of your hands while adding cornstarch (I hope you wash your hands or not) the 1st rule of when it comes to cross-contamination is making sure always keep your hands clean, different, cutting boards etc. Your hands is contaminated with the raw ground beef, you picked up the cornstarch bag and more sign of cross contamination now, so what would you do is if you are kneading the ground beef, you need disposable plastic gloves and knead the ground beef with one hand, so that's the way to avoid something that is raw in your hands. Step 3 4:10 While yes, butter is okay for pan frying burgers, I just find it a little too slow process because the butter takes time to melt and also if your pan is hot and then putting the butter, there's a chance you will burn the butter (the way to see a burned butter is when it's brown it tells you the pan is too hot) if you really like butter for your burger, what you could do is use a natural oil pan fry the burger until both sides are brown, turn down the heat, add the butter and then baste it.
